It has nothing to do with your invasion. That is the message you receive after beating Pinwheel, letting you know you can now further kindle bonfires for more flasks.

how an NPC phantom was vanquished. However, "Rite of Kindling" is by
far the most common message if you have killed Pinwheel. It seems to
happen when the host challenged the boss during your loading time, and I
have seen "Phantom sent home messages" shortly after I have crossed a
boss fog with a cinematic after the video is done. It's a fairly rare
occurrence, but it does have something to do with invasions, and can be
seen most often in the Undead Parish, and Anor Londo."
