A new Direction (IGN) not till 2014

In an issue that drops the first details on Dark Souls 2, Edge Magazine has also reported that the series' creator and director Hidetaka Miyazaki is working on a brand new game.

Miyazaki has stepped back into an advisory role for Dark Souls 2 after Namco and FROM took the decision to appoint two new directors for Dark Souls 2 to take the series in a new direction. Instead Miyazaki is evidently working full-time on another project.

There are absolutely no details on that project - we don't even know whether it's something new, or a sequel to something else. But rest assured, we'll be following it very closely indeed. Given Miyazaki's generally secretive nature, we may not know more for a while.

I feel like i'll have to boycot this site till real news breaks, like when i ignored this site before the DLC release to keep spoils out. It doesn't show anything. It just shows that they have a realistic schedule for making a game. Doesn't mean it's going to be better or worse.
