Lautrec Role play?

Hey all, I'm introducing my brothers to the game, but I also noticed that I have never either A) Done a role play build or B) made a dex based build.

Two Shotels, Favor Armor, RTR and RoFaP, what should I make his stats and what other equipment should I use? Thanks

I have a Lautrec RP build. And here is what I run for fun:

Some people say Lautrec is secretly a member of the gravelord covenant, so I sometimes off hand the gravelord sword. Looks really cool on your back when you 2 hand hold your main shotel too.

Also for variety I sometimes run double bastard swords. Is there any other weapon combo that fits Latrec so well? Also the crossed double scabbards on your back look extra cool on the battlefield and in the cinematics. Also fits with his ambidextrous fighting style.

Last thing is adding in Jesters coat now and then. That coat looks super cool with the rest of the favor set. Like its being worn over the top of Latrecs armor. I justify this by thinking that (assuming Latrec was not killed by the player) he would not pass up that coat if he saw it.

Don't forget Fall Control and some nice mid rolls.

And I can tell you it's a bit of a beast in both PvE and PvP.

Lautrec seems to be one of the most common themed builds out there and it's definitely one of the most fun and rewarding to play. I've had alot of success with this build-

Originally I planned to use a true role-play but after running into numerous SlB using lautrec's I decided to throw on faith and menu swap a second canvas talisman for my parrying dagger for a surprise riposte.

I think the most important part of any theme build is making something slightly unique about it you'll really enjoy and even to catch a few players off guard with.

I have a Lautrec cosplay build, but I have to admit I had stats to spare, so I gave him 30 Faith and sometimes use Sunlight Blade, especially for bosses. You wouldn't believe how SLB+Shotel devastate most bosses.

PvP wise I don't use Parrying Dagger, but another Shotel to parry, because I got a better feel for curved sword parry timing. I have the other right hand slot empty, only so I can kick parry spammers, or I equip Force/WoG for thm, but I usually don't use any spells at all.
