Gabrius, The Cursed
"There goes a legend in the Old Scriptures of Oolacile. They tell of a man that bested the great Royal Stone Guardians in order to protect the life of his own daughter. During that battle, this man, given the name Gabrius, had lost an arm and both legs. At that time, the corrupt officials of Oolacile had cursed him for treason and attempted to give him the fate of a Guardian. However, his daughter was a naturally born Witch, which explained why the Guardians had attacked her, and with her power, she had counteracted the curse.
But, she could not mend it. Gabrius was left with his legs turned to stone and his arm a mere stump, which forced him to become left-handed, although he did not realize it until later, since he had become comatose. Horrified by her father's fate, the daughter fled the land of Oolacile to master her Witchraft and was never heard of again. Some say his daughter, Beatrice, had a strong connection with her humanity and the abyss, which prevented her fate of hollowing. It also was said, that her power magnified when the abyss was strong, which might explain why Gabrius awoke when Oolacile was taken by the Abyss.
Yet, during his awakening, Gabrius' fate as a hollow had already occurred. Yet...what is terrifying...is that the soul of that hollow still yearns for its daughter, despite losing all sanity and mind. Just what are humans, to oppose their fate, when all is lost?"
