go to the black cleric on the tower you fough the gargoyles and obsolve your sin, it should be ok after that.

^ It can be costly though. But you'll prolly be better off paying for that than playing through the game without a blacksmith. (esp if it's Andre)

The cost of washing away your sin(s) all depends on the SL you are at....The lower your Soul Level the cheaper it will be for you....I did it a few days ago I was SL37 and it cost me 15000plus souls......

^ Yeah but also the lower the soul level, the harder it is to obtain souls. So no matter your level, it gon cost ya.

True but...... I would not say it would be hard to farm souls at a low level.(using the WSS),but it would be time comsuming.But worth it if one finds themself in the same issue as OP......imo anyhow.....Also do we know if the cost of Absolution goes off the serveraty of that players sin(s)?. you're screwed. you have to either kill him or leave him alone but you wont be able to absove your sins and if you hit any npc you can make friends with them untill ng+
