    TESTED BUILDS

    "Pure Perfection" SL99- http://mmdks.com/1dke
    • The Pure Perfection build was a build geared towards being able to efficiently and effectively handle any kind of battle. With high poise and armor that has as much defense as Havel's full set but light enough to move at <50%, you have the freedom to either tank a hit or dodge it. The Demon's spear has one of the longest reaches of any melee weapon in the game, and also has a perfect balance of speed and strength. The Avelyn is for instances where the enemy is trying to make space to heal or cast a spell. NOTE** I may redesign this build and switch out the armor for something lighter so I can achieve <50% movement speed while switching the Havel ring for Leo Ring.

"Lunar Queen of Fog" SL 99 - http://mmdks.com/1wa0
    • My purest build in Dark Souls. This build hosts in the Painted world of Ariarmis and the Darkroot forest to avoid the glow effect of being an invading phantom. She's an assassin first, with dark magic to keep control of a fight. Health, poise, and defense takes a backseat to power, stealth, and quickroll. The high dex and Int works well with the chosen weapons and magic.

      "Plague Build" SL 40 - http://mmdks.com/rrc
    • A build based solely around inflicting plague(poison and toxin). The empty helmet slot is for getting your head infected by a maggot. Carry a large supply of dung bombs and poison throwing knives. Once the enemy is toxined and/or poisoned, focus 100% of your concentration on defending yourself. Stay close in order to be able to punish them if they try to heal, and it will only be a matter of time until you win. The spider shield has good stability; that coupled with the slightly lower stamina regeneration someone gets when they're inflicted with poison should keep you safe no matter how much they try to hit you.

You can also replaced the guardian tail with a rapier and poison resin. The rapier's ability to be able to poke while blocking, and faster speed actually makes it safer than the guardian tail.

    • "Skill Evaluation" SL 99 - http://mmdks.com/1f7w
The ultimate test in your own skill. This is a build intended to be able to use any kind of weapon, shield, and armor set. Use the most standard versions of a weapon class and armor class, and see how well you do against an opponent with the same type of weapon and movement speed. If you win against the opponent you can without a doubt say that you are better than he or she is since unlike you, their stats are more than likely specialized to what they were using.

      JOKE BUILDS

      "Angel Build" SL 55 - http://mmdks.com/ui0
    • A build specifically for supporting your teammates. Soothing Sunlight and bountiful sunlight are for healing your teammates while hidden body makes you less of a target for enemies. Ring of sun princess boosts the effects of your miracles. Dusk Crown Ring double the amount of spells you have. You won't be able to use the trident to attack, but the darkmoon bow and moonlight arrows are very damaging for a healer.

    • "Super Tank" SL 99 - http://mmdks.com/1f6c
An unstoppable force. With 99 humanity you reach the nearly-impossible plateau of 500 defense. With 50 strength the demon greataxe is the hardest hitting weapon in the entire game. The 1-handed Heavy attack is a sweeping attack that covers 3/4 of a circle around you. The 2nd attack in the heavy combo also has deceptive tracking abilities and a large window. Havel's shield offers the best protection to all types of damage in the game, and coupled with the highest stability in the game it compensates the inability to roll adequately. The Dragon Greatsword has a large sweeping motion in it's attacks that help deter bs fishers and also has a long-ranged special.

    • "Shame Mage" SL 99 - http://mmdks.com/15wr
Not much to say about this one. Magic is OP. Just let the spells do the work for you. Geared toward taking advantage of the 1HKO strength of sorceries. Faith meets the minimum stat requirement for useful support miracles and Velka's talisman has the highest scaling.

    • Dragon Newt SL 20 - http://mmdks.com/1f7j
Takes full advantage of dragon fun on low levels. Unlimited spammable fire breath, <25% weight, a bow for long range, 400 AR dragon hand, and a versatile set of pyromancies make it more effective than you might think.

    • "Lunar Assassin" SL 50 - http://mmdks.com/1f7n
The ultimate assassin. Ridiculously high dex for the strongest possible backstab. SL 50 to help make sure that people don't have too much health. Shotel for quickly taking out any remaining health that a victim might have afterwards. Appropriate spells will also help keep you concealed. Menu swap between: Ring of Fog, Sleeping dragoncrest ring, cloranthy ring, Wolf ring, or any other ring you need in the situation. Refer to my assassin page in my signature for more info.

Wasn't me that down-voted it, but honestly I can see why, lol.

My reaction was like "LunaFog build collection...? I wonder what that means?"

Then I saw it was the poster's username and thought, "who the hell is he?" silly

.....although I have one too. (Don't we all?) I just posted mine in my sig.

Well you don't have to worry about that. Just completely rip on my builds and list everything that's faulty about them. I'll decide whether or not any of your points have any real validity.

Why would I switch the artorias shield for the silverknight sheild? And why would I even worry about menu swapping the gough and dragonbow?

Edit: And you know, there's no sense in making a serious build to use for low level griefing. That's actually the only build I put atual thought into.

I think Pure Perfection would be better off flipping. I couldn't equip a spear but I think GC/BF is more beneficial. Menu swap the Avelyn and 0 poise sorry.

Interesting but I think it'd be better off with the poise, and not so reliant on menu swapping. <50% roll is quick enough to keep up with any type of weapon/magic. Flipping is pretty...frivolous.

Well flipping is the most useful roll for bows/crossbows since you're basically shooting and rolling away. The flip also covers more distance than the other rolls. Your opponent gets aggressive and you welcome them with a GC to the face.

I've tested my Perfect build on every type of fighter: High strength tanks, ninja flipping dex users, turtlers, magicians, it's effective against everything.

And what do I want from this thread? A place to put all my builds. Also, it's very unlikely but maybe somebody can make em better(although the pure perfection and poison builds are the only serious ones)

Th crossbow is for when the enemy is trying to get some space(either to heal, cast a spell, or buff). the Artorias shield is more useful for bows/crossbows than flipping. And I don't see why you would have to worry about covering more distance with your roll since the medium roll gets the job done adequately.

So it's not a grief build? If it is try this: Get a poise of say 61, find the armor that allows the fast roll, ditch the DWGR and try a better one. Reach should be important on offense, not killing them outright. Fast dodge seems useful and you can annoy your foe at the same time.

When you use a bow there's no point in having a greatshield in your back. I can see the usefulness for the crossbow though. Either way if I'm medium rolling I wouldn't be concerned about rolling at all, I would instead stack poise for a proper tank build. I don't know how you can shoot and medium roll away but if you say it works then go for it lol.

I have a significant amount of poise. The armor I have is also significant in defense. I may as well be a tank, but I can still mid-roll which is much more useful than you might be thinking.

This is how I would do your Mage Hunter. 411 magic defense + GMB to laugh at their MLGSs. FIRE to scorch their love for robes. WoG to interrupt their spell spam and fast roll to dodge through their spells.

Even though you have kinda persuaded me to focus on all magic defense, instead of a mix of both(which is a really good idea) I'm definitely not going to follow this suggestion. If I hate magicians, why would I ever be a WoG spamming Great combustioning loser? Ill be updating my anti-magician build based on the magic defense though. Thanks

Looks good however I would attune either GMB or VoS. This is because you can't cast one while using the other and I typically just cast one self buff for the reminder of the fight. Also I would equip Wolf Ring instead of stone speckled because it's better to have some poise than some points of defense.
