Anyone want an all out covenant war?

Allright I have been thinking on this for a while and the question is: Would you want a covenant war between all the active covenants here? Unlike the one that Tinypantha made, I want to make one this work. If enough people are interested in this I will make a separate thread in either here, or the PvP section.

Details and ideas come if more people are interested.

I'll just wait on the large vs. small covenant gripes and see what happens.

The thing is with a lot of covenants is they don't have a lot of uniquiety to them if you know what I mean. It's like if I saw two covenanters fighting each other, I wouldn't recognise who is who. And the point of a covenant war is to recognise the other's covenants.

A cool think would be if the alliances the covenants had would fight with that covenant member. Like a 2v2 with covvie alliances/enemies on either side, if you get what I mean.

I do get you mean. One of the concepts I was thinking would be to cut alliances and have everyone be the enemy of each other, though I'm trying to think of those who are members to others. But this is just an opinoin and a try to get this section active again.

We had plenty...they are boring and cause a lot of butt hurt on top of the fact it's nothing more then a mass invasion but with a known foe.

Maybe everyone connects at the same time and regroups at Ariamis?

There is no LH...long gone! Well, we are...were LH...now LH is the Exiled. LH was Wyrm's creation and out of respect for Wyrm and at Wyrm's request I changed the name. Just to clarify

Just throwing this out here but how does this sound? Instead of each covanent going into each others enemies how about the leaders of each being the target to kill? The leader will create a build (sl still debatable) that repersents thier cov and can choose either 1 or 2 phantoms from their ranks to help defend them, or go solo. The other members will try to take out the leader of the other covs of their personal choice and use a gesture or something to tell the others involved who they are allied with.

hmmm how about an area war? so if for example you do the DLC one cov gets on area another cov gets another and 2 cov's near each other fight for a certain amount of time then so on so forth until one cov gets the whole area and thus wins. hows that? the only problem that comes to mind right now is sl but im just throwin an idea out there for now so not too deeply thought.

You already know my thoughts Soris, all covs, total war.

Now, that is getting creative! I'll be watching to see how this idea plays out. Then we'll see

Problem is I don't want those who don't have the dlc left out. As for sl I'm thinking 100 but still debateable. Though the area does sound doable, however the main issue is how many people will be involved,

Wait it does! Sorry posted before I saw that. However the numbers of people involved will be what will seal this. I suggest you leaders who are interested see who is still active with you guys. Also I think the leaders should appoint their choice to represent them on other consoles. Don't want this to be one sided.

You think it be crazy to get the Pantheon involved in this?

Its always fun when someone dismisses hours of your work you put into organising events for the benefit of the forum based on her opinion and one other person's problems.

Sounds like it could be fun, I remember really enjoying some of the Cov wars back in the day. I may join in if you guys set this up.

I'm in the process of rules and sl's now and want input. I'm not being to stricted or generic with rules so what do you want? Only one I'm thinking of represent the Star Harmonic's that the host (since invaders can't) drop prisms after every kill.

No matter...Dough we (Exiled) won't be doing a traditional war! What the rest of you do is cool

Besides, I've got my hands full with the Exiled "Guerrilla Warfare" event(s)

So as long as people show interest in this and are willing to join I decided to use this thread to plan the final result out. As for the possible rules how do these sound?

1: No glitch, hack or modded anything! I don't think anyone wants to fight like.


2: When it comes to combat, fight how your cov mandates it, or bring your variate of it. Those who fight with honor show it. If your cov allows backstabbs, reserve it to the host 1 time, and no chain and Hornet ring backstabbs. I want you to show your skill not 1hit deaths that anyone can do.

3: Leaders have your builds with enough sin to have darkmoon invaders involved. How it's your choice.

4: When it come to randoms I suggest you kill them but you can do what you please with them. If your in a fight and the random tries any anything low stop and gank them.

That's all I got before I lost my train of thought What do you think?

Sounds fairly Decent Soris, perhaps a bit of tweaking may be needed on the rules in regards to what the covenant allows players to use, since it will give a definite advantage to some over others.

Also can the drama please leave this thread, I'd appreciate it if people weren't so negative or trying to start arguments here. I may not be a mod, but I'm not above giving a scolding or two while wagging my finger.

Well if anyone is going in the forest I have to keep the rules loose for the obvious reasons, and I really need to look into the darkstalkers/fallen code of combat.
