Every ganker uses it to mock the phantoms they kill.
I use the to say, "Oh crap! It's you again," after running into the person that killed me about 3 times in a row. Then the person usually replies with the same guesture. Maybe they don't know what I'm trying to say?
Also, I've seen a few people use before boss doors. Once I was co-oping with someone, and the boss killed us twice in a row. The third time the host did it before the boss door like he was praying for a victory.

Gankers usually use the to mock you. I guess it's similar to F you. People usually use if you did something 'dishonorable' in the duel. (Ex. heal, run away, ect.)
