Dark souls 2 on the PS4 (and the new X-box i am sure)

i have said it before and been backhanded to the depths but now with the release of the PS4 and rumors say that the new Xbox will have a mini announcement soon i cant help but think dark souls 2 will be on here. i am aware the site says PS3 360 and all that jazz but maybe they will change their minds? OR just had that there because they could not talk about the next gen console?

I think it's coming out for this gen but that's just an educated guess, TBH.

I hope Dark Souls 2 will be a next gen title, just so it can be as great as possible.

Scroll down to the letter "f" and you'll see From Software on that list. I'm pretty sure this means that Dark Souls 2 will be on PS4 (maybe not exclusively though). I'm crossing my fingers for it to be a launch title, but Holidays 2014 (or 2015) is more likely.

I hope it will be a this gen title.

This is simply because the games right at the end of a console generation tend to be some of the best. I mean look at shadow of the colossus and okami!

Besides, FROM still havent made the most out of the PS3, though considering it's being made for 360 as well they probably never will. (thats not a console wars comment, just the fact that you can fit more content onto ps3 games in one disc, and FROM have confirmed an open world)

I know ChizFreak has been pointing this out everywhere but since he's not here I will: Miyazaki is working on a mystery title, which could be what is heading to the PS4

Some Games that are released on or near a generation switch often come out with a good port to the new console IF it does not offer old console games

If it is on next gen consoles, that is a system seller for me. People who have seen the game running have said that they thought it looked "too good to be running on current gen consoles". That being said, it would probably make more sense to put the game out on current gen as it has a higher install base.

The Miyazaki project is really interesting. E3 could be insane this year.

Seen the trailer and with all the time it takes to create a game the ps4 will easily be out by DS2's releise and its not likely from want to be behind the times.

Not "easily." Winter 2013/2014 is an excellent candidate for Dark Souls II.

Obviously Dark Souls II will be on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. They've said so. That doesn't mean it won't be on PS4 or Durango though.

I pray its on a current console...not next gen. I don't want to have to shell out 400+$ just to play my favorite series. Don't get me wrong though, I hope they do continue the series on next gen, just not right now.
