Hows my PvP build ?

Just started playing, is there a big difference between lvl 120 and lvl 125 ?

Heres my build for 125 that i really like.

I wanna be able to use this for co-op too from time to time. But mainly for PvP

also the only covenant i joined is the forest, Is PvP different in darkmoon or dark wraith ? What the difference between the 3 ?

EDIT: Is there a way i can get all the covenant items(red/blue eye orb, darkmoon miracles,etc) for those 3 coveneants on this character ?

Your build looks alright, but I'm not a very active pvp, my best advice is play how you want.

Yes they are very different, Forest has no level restrictions, you could invade a SL4 or a SL 600, it also appears people are ganging up and farming Hunters for whatever reason. Darkmoons invade sinners and Darkwraiths just invade whatever. All invasions and co-op happens around 10-15% of your level, I still can't remember what it is now.

Cracked red orbs have no upper limit and can only be bought from the Darkwraiths, after a few rank ups you get a red orb which is the same thing but won't be consumed and also follows the no upper limit. Darkmoons have an orb and a ring, the orb follows the 10-15% rule but is suppose to allow you to invade lower levels, but it also lets you do it while hollowed compared to every other invasion requiring human form, traits that have made others mark the Darkmoons as unfair and cheap though there are honorable darkmoons around on these forms. The ring they get allows them to invade an Anor Londo where people have betrayed them and works the same was as the forest covenant to my knowledge.

well i read around and most people keep their SL at 120, should i drop mine down or does it really matter ?

If you plan to particpate in the fight clubs run by this forum yes, if you do not then you are roughly fine.

Why have both Int and Faith so high? What weapons/spells/miracles do you want to use?

For PvE, that build looks ok. For PvP, your stats are spread pretty thin. You will end up with a pretty versatile, but weak build

You can but you can only use covenant specific items in that covenant, jumping over to the Darkwraiths will no longer let you invade the forest via the Forest ring. Cracked orbs are an exception to this as it's a general invasion item.

I wanted to be able to play both PvE and PvP, Int&Faith im not sure why i set it higher, i figured to use some higher level spells and miracles, i did 25 Faith so i could get into the sun bros, and i wanted to be able to use alot of different weapons.

will i lose alot of with this build ?

I see, well what about the blue and red orb ?

You won't be able to cast the stronger magics unless you go higher than 125, but you will benefit from magic/enchanted and divine/occult weapons as those scale of INT and FTH respectfully.

They'll stay with you but you won't be able to use them for invasions if you jumped back to Forest Hunters.

okay, that was also part of my plan, i wanted to use the weapons and have them scale with my stats. And i only joined the forest covenant to twink around while i progress more into the story to join darkmoon or dark wraith

Your miracles, magic, and buffs will be pretty weak, yes. Spells are hard to use effectively in PvP.

With those stats, I would choose elemental weapon upgrades.

if the only reason you got 25 faith you screwed up, every time you hellp someone the requirement to join goes down by 5. i guess you can still use cmw with the tcc since you have 32 int but its not gonna be that good for pvp, specially if you go up against a decent player, it looks fine for pve and co op. and if you wanted to use spells and miracles why only 14 att?

I mainly wanted to use spells for PvE or Co-op


Elemental weapons and stuff+pyromancy would be for PvP

So, what spells do you want to use? The problem here is at 125, you need to make sacrifices. If you don't, you'll end up with a weak toon. Especially if you want to use both magic and miracles.

homing crystal soul mass and lightning spear.

i wanted to be able to keep them high to use moonlight great sword, and greatsword of artorius, and some of the other talismans and catalysts.

mlgs is not gonna be that good with 32 int, sword of artorias is gonna suck with those stats, and your miracles are gonna be weak, the only useful ones with your stats are force and heal. you can always make another toon once you decide what you really like.

what would be the best way to build to use those effectively ?

the great sword of artorias doesn shine until after sl 200, you need at least 40 on int and fai. if you really wanna make an sl 120 you have to pick either int or fai.

would i still be able to use lightning weapons effectively ?

and is a better idea for me to drop to 120 or is 125 okay ?

If you plan to try all stats you are going to end up being like 160 or so. Here use this to plan out what you want to do, it's probably better that you are able to see and change the numbers how you see fit.

Lightning/Fire weapons have no scaling, so you would be fine but limited to what your STR/DEX allows you to wield.

if you really wanna join the fight clubs here you have to be sl 120, the unofficial sl is 120. elementals dont scale with anything, you can be sl5 and they still the same all you need is the requirements to wield it.

Your problem is you want it all, at a SL of 125. When I first started DeS, I had the same goal. I ended up with a weak build that had a little bit of everything. If you want to use HSM, LS, and MLGS, here are my recommended stats:
Class: Pyro/Bandit/Cleric
Vit: 44/42
Att: 12/14
End: 35
Str: 16
Dex: 10
Int: 44
Faith: 30

LH1: Shield of choice
LH2: Beatrice/Izalith OR Tin crystalization catalysts (Magic adjust: 271/271 or 280)
RH1: Moonlight Great Sword (AR: 475)
RH2: Canvas Talisman (Miracle adjust: 172)

Spells: Homing Crystal Soul Mass and Great Sunlight Spear.

If you want one more spell slot (14 att, 42 Vit), then you can add another spell like Crystal Soul Spear.

But, all of these spells/miracles are going to be virtually worthless in PvP, as they are easily avoidable.

If you want to do PvP with this build, then use Wrath of God, Great Combustion (ascended glove +5), +/- Great Magic Barrier (if you have 14 att).

You can also use an elemental Claymore, which is a great weapon for PvP.

So, if you like my stats, you are 6 points over. You could drop Vit to 40 and Endurance to 33 and be OK. The Vitality cap is 40. After that, severe diminishing returns kick in. So, the difference between 40 and 44 vitality is minimal, unless you use the MoM or RoFAP. But, you shouldn't be using those with a Int build.

40/12/33/16/14/12/44/30

Just got to watch your stamina bar, but you should be fine with 33 End.
