What is the best search engine in the internet?

I've used Google a lot. Then I saw Bing advertised on TV as being better then Google. I tried it, and I thought it was worse then Google. I think I'll try Yahoo next.

Anyway, what do you think is the best search engine?

Depends on what you're looking for. Google is generally fine for my needs though.

Just so you know, Bing and Yahoo have both been proven to "steal" Google's search results. Google's proven it by shoving bull into the results and seeing if Bing comes up with the same ones.

Been using google since god knows.

That may explain why it's been less acurate then Google everytime I use it. I've tried Bing for about 2 months and noticed it was less accurate. A couple times I searched for something and couldn't find it. Then I typed the exact thing into Google and found it on the first page.

I nerver heard about them stealling results.

Also this is kinda creepy. Once I was trying to find pictures of iron ore for a research project. I typed "iron ore" into Bing image search, and some of the pictures were animated porn. :shock: Then I typed the exact same thing into Google image search and literally no porn showed up.

Google changed their filter order recently, unless you know how to manipulate them the porn is generally farther back.

I know this because there was an article on it, for people who's minds are in the gutter.

I used to use Bing more when they offered free money to purchase things by clicking on their link to then go to the store to buy said thing. When I bought my latest TV I got $50 from them.

As for stealing results, I have seen articles from Google on Yahoo. Not search results. Articles.

I noticed. Bing should be ashamed of themselves. Actually, Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves.

I hardly think it needs people to have their mind in the gutter if you brought it up yourself

Google, because it's badically the default for every web browser.

Youtube is my search engine.
I hate Google. It gives me spyware no matter what I search.
So basically I don't really use a search engine other than youtube, if you count that as one.

Chrome. It is faster and simple.

My browser is normally Chrome but I used to use Firefox too.

For searches I normally use Google when I'm looking up something up real fast, but if I have to do a paper on something I use Dogpile I get a lot more results with that.

LexisNexis and WestLaw were actually two of the best search engines I ever used. Admittedly they're specialized, paid engines and have a limited data set but man are they good

I always use mozilla, Chrome always hogged my computer.

I used to use Firefox. But, it kept getting slower and slower.

I use chrome mostly.
