The great search

Hey guys
I need some help with a theory of mine so feel free to comment
We´ve all seen the 10 braziers(9 small and 1 big) on the opposite side of the Lordvessel
I think it has something to do with classes and covenant´s the pygmy and the pendant
The idea is simple complete the game with the right Character and Covenant and do the right ending
For example WOW cov link the fire and darkwaith walk away
If done correctly I think the 9 small braziers are lit when you start the final run as a deprived with no covent
and thus opening the giant door in the back and revealing the third ending
When you tink about it there are 10 classes and 10 covenants if you count no cov as a cov
You also can make a maximum of 10 toons and there are 10 braziers still a coincidence ???


So why I need you help
I started this run with the most obvious ones and I need you opinion on the less obvious ones

This is a very interesting theory. I can't say as to whether all of your connections are correct, all I can say is give it a go. You may want to learn how to speedrun however haha.

yeah I do the BB glitch takes me about 4 hours incl item farming
already finiched the most obvious ones
brought my thorolund cleric in WOW cov to NG+ and the pyromancer Chaos cov
Now I'm busy with the Dragon scholar sorcerer in Path of the dragon cov

I agree with most of the things you have selected, mainly the classes and the covenants... However there are somethings that are debatable

Since the Darkwraith area, New Londo, has mostly Carim Weapons, and well as the Sealers, which indicate that they came form Carim, it would be more so that it would be of Carim than Zena. As well, many of the Darkwraiths are Knights, so it would more so fit the Darkwraiths than the thief. What you see from players is not the same as the game. Even the Knight of Thorns is a knight, so... ya.

For the Warrior of Sunlight... eh, debatable. It depends on why the God of War was banished as a God deity. Catarina seems right, although it is hard to say if that is the right choice, but it seems the likly choice, since the onion knight recognizes Gwyn and seems to be faithful to him (as seen from the swamp), more than other human beings.

Since the other classes match the other countrymen, the Zena beings would moreso fit the Gravelord Servent, since the Carim fits more towards the Darkwraiths, and other countrymen suit other groups. Even so, the Bandit would more so be less likely than the thief, since the Bandits are outdoorsmen, and their is a thief seen in the area. It would seem more likely for the thief than the bandit. However both are despicable, so... either or.

However, since the Princess' Guard needs a class, it would suit more for the Bandit than Thief, since the Knight suits more towards the Darkwraith. As it were, more so the Bandit than the thief, since the bandit would serve unquestionable with brawn, while the thief might wonder what jewelry is on the goddess.

Eh. For the Link the Fire, both the Hunters and the Warrior of Sunlight is debatable. For the Chaos Servant absolutely not, since the Chaos Covenant needs the power of the flame, in which case relighting it will allow that power to still be available. For the Gravelords... eh, maybe. the Gravelord Nito is a Lord of the Flame, so it is debatable. Hard to say what the Gravelord aims for.

Other than that, it seems mostly right. However other people might say otherwise. Good luck on the search, my friend.

Why ??? Because the knight starts in the WOW cov and has the prayer gesture
Seems a bit to noble for a darkwraith to me
Also a knight is a tank thus build for protecting and guarding not hunting or stealing (humanity)

I agree with you on the carim/zena part
Maybe the bandid and the thief should be switched
And you are absolutely right with the Choas linking the fire
So need an other speed run with my pyromancer

Ominous, dubious Carim = Bandit = Darkwraith
Thief = Delta Farmer, since most Thiefs are Ninjas, and ninjas were farmers in historical Japan = Graverlord Servant, since most ninjas use poison, as Nito uses death and disease
Knights of Astora = Sunbros
Warriors= Catarina = Princess Guard

Hunters = Classic Zena, as they take whatever trinkets their opponents drop

Also:

Princess Guard/link the fire

Sunbros/link the fire

WoW/link the fire

Darkmoons/link the fire

Darkwraiths/go away

Gravelord/link the fire because he Nito loves it (he is a Lord)

Hunters = GO AWAY, hunters protect the tomb of Artorias, the Abysswalker, who (cant remember) found a covenant with the creatures of the abyss (Kaathe). Correct me Acidic _Cook, love your posts btw.

Edit: Artorias could be one of the Four Kings, if such, then link the fire if he still was ally of Lord Gwyn before his death.

Artoris was NOT one of the four kings. The four kings were the kings of New Londo that were tempted with the power of life drain and cast into the abyss, they had something to do with the release of the DarkWraiths, which caused the city to be flooded. Artorias joined a covenant with the creatures of the abyss, (darkwraiths).

I was speculating cause so little is said about them, four kings, four knights....maybe Lord Gwyn assigned his four knights as kings when he gave a part of his soul when he went to link the fire. If Artorias joined the Darkwraiths then DO NOT LINK THE FIRE with the HUNTER class.

Edit: Four Lord Souls, four statues of a maiden with the baby.... From sure likes number 4

Like i said, others have different views. And for the Knight, their was a Knight who also was a follower of the gods, who then alligned with the Dark. We call him the Abysswalker Knight of the Wolf. He was a Knight of the gods (Gwyn), but he went to the abyss and changed. Just saying, good luck.

well you got a point there

If you can get even one of the braziers to light up, we'll know you're on to something.

For the record, I would not choose wanderer as blade of the darkmoon; I would choose a thief. The wanderer lacks faith, while the thief has faith and seeks redemption for his sins, making him a suitable assassin for the Gods. The wanderer is hard to pin down, but perhaps Darkwraiths would work. Good luck.

Wanderers have attributes of a Samurai, like Shiva of the East. Samurais are very faithful in their code, so Blade of the Darkmoon is perfect for them. Thiefs have to be Gravelord, as most thiefs use poison, toxin, shadow armor...

With some careful thinking and the feed back I updated the list

Any luck? I was reading glyphblade's all secrets and someone mention using the 9 boss souls in front of the 9 urns.

nope no luck yet but i think they will only light up when the nine covs are done
I finiched the wow cleric and the chaos pyromancer and now rapping up the dragon sorcerer(kiln)

yes +3 and all pyromancies(got trophy) and linked the fire
also tried some different stuff @ the bed of choas such as the use of coins pendant and rubbish

Sunbro, my friend. I would advice you, as a Gravelord, to light the Flame. It might help you as such in your search. Just a word of advice.

I think you're right still busy with reading you're latest finding about Nito
Anyway's the cleric pyromancer and sorcerer are done
Just opend up Anor Londo with the wanderer class, wich I had more time but hey I still have to work and keep my wife happy

Well I finiched up another toon

I could not rank up to +3 dark moon because of lak of SOR's
Seems that the ring and the blue eye stones don't give enough invasions, and yes tried to farm SOR in the painted world

Now working on the hunter toon

The Gravelord Nito uses the power of death in order to fill his ranks of the 'undead', even though they are not the Undead that is of the regular flame. The undead he uses are the sub-factors that follow the art of the flame, as seen by both the Pinwheel boss and the Servants by his Ash Domain. They are also seen using the magic of the dark, as seen by the Pinwheel Boss, who use the art to teleport and to duplicate, similar to that of the four Kings, who is a creature of the Dark. Interesting to note that the Pinwheel Boss, who is the only Pinwheel with the Dark magic, also holds the Rite of Kindling as his power as well, which says a few.

The Toddler Skeletons are not created from the dead necessarily, but from Souls; Dark Souls. These Dark Souls, the Humanity, are the factor in which the toddlers are incarnated from, in which the Pinwheels watch over by Nito's Tomb, Nito's Domain. The idea that Nito's Grave is made of Ash also subsides that he has connection to the flame as well in terms of power (and the fact that he has Dark magic like the darkwraiths, as he casts an AOE blast with it). Even so, the God of Death uses the Power of Flame and Humanity (Dark) for his power, which both associate with the Flame.

It would make sense that the Gravelord would want the Flame to be lit, more than the Dark Lord to come from the depletion. Still it is a sore subject, but it seems mostly tied towards the aspect of the flame and the dark, in which they get from the general flame of disparity. As such, it would be more logical to Light the Flame as a Gravelord.

This list is looking good!!!! I hope you are having fun sunbro. I still think the warriors should serve the Princess and the Knights the Sunbros, as Solaire is a Knight. Most knights begin in Way of White and to join the Sunbros you have to have 25 faith.

Oh yeah my hunter toon is defenitly fun
yesterday I've been busy with forrest invading.....jesus what I saw was a Whole lot of griefers, the forrest is infested with them
but lvl 2 now

But I'm still not shure about the Knight and Warrior
As Solaire says they are warriors of sunlight and as for the pricess guard they also use miricals (high faith)
It seems that both are possible and suiteble
