Had no Estus, one hit on me left, one hit on him left. We killed one another at the same time, Before I died/re-spawned completely, it gave me the 20,000 souls, but deducted my current souls from that. Resulting in a net gain of only 11,000. But no titanite slab, never received it. Anyway I can get another one somewhere else? On the same play through preferably.

If you own the downloadable content, you can pick up a slab easily in the Kalameet waterfall.
Otherwise just farm the darkwaiths in New Londo Ruins. Just the other day I got a slab from one of those guys and I wasn't trying for ore; I was going for the large ember.

It can happen to Havel's Ring too. The diffrence is there's only one Havel's Ring in the entire game. You should consider yourself lucky.
Also, you can get another slab from Sieglinde of Catarina, but once I had a bug occure in my game that prevented me from fulfilling the requirements to get it. As far as I know I'm the only one that encountered the bug. I've only had it happen once.

^ Nope, only Covenant of Artorias, Orange Charred Ring, Cat Covenant Ring, and Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring appear in there.

^wich you can always feed to Frampt to get souls and they'll immediatly appear back at the chest.

The only way it seems for me to get another is to farm in for them in the Ruins, considering I don't have the dlc as of now, but getting it soon. And to who asked, my SL is mid eighties, ending 120.

I did that on my playthrough when there was no second slab pick up... only farming, *** dat
But yeah.. guess if you really want it then you have to farm.. but bear in mind the difference in AR for a +14 to +15 weapon is only like 20-30 AR
