Arty is for sure a 'pain in the butt', very annoying moveset with little time to mount attacks on him from close..
Anyways, good job, I'm yet to beat him on that high setting (Though i rarely bother going that high anymore)

I feel like this is basically the whole BoC thing, its cool and all that you did on the difficulty you did and all but after a while you can basically beat him with your eyes closed.
Don't let that get you down though, I've just spent way too much damn time playing this game to get excited anymore

Nice job, I remember the first time I killed Arty on NG+2 it felt great doing it, then the dark casters killed five minutes after.

My sister couldn't do it for the longest time. Had to farm to upgrade a normal weapon because Arty has HUGE lightning defense. Then she had to grab Iron Skin, and she FINALLY beat him. I was super happy for her.
Granted, not too long ago, she celebrated for 20 minutes when she killed Havel. Dark Souls is a one of a kind.
Anyway, first time I killed him I just learned his moveset and use sorceries. He's easy with magic. Though, the freaking mobs around him SUCK FREAKING Blfejiofhafl;dsafl;sja!!!! as a sorcerer your first time through the area.

Congratulations. I think Arty is the only boss or mini-boss I haven't defeated solo.
