Talismans & Cataclysts

I'm new to the whole "Casting" area of DkS, just made my first Faith build with a Mage in the future. So can someone dumb these down for me?
Which are the best for certain situations. Ie, high faith/INT, low faith/INT, etc.

To much to type, check the archives area of the forum in the stickies at the top for good info. And check the wiki for lots of great info.

Wiki doesn't help, I just want to know how much the param modifier matters.

Did you look at the archives in the forum? If that dosnt help im not sure what will.

There are so many options based on what you are wanting to do.... Could end up listing all the catalysts.

Archives didn't help actually, found what I wanted on the forums, a chart showing Mag adj according to Faith with each talisman. To others who may have a similar question:

Yes, And I use the wiki a lot, but thought that personal experience would be more useful than numbers.

Put your numbers and see which ones give you the best magic adjust.

To put it simply with talismans go thorolund to canvas to darkmoon the others are just a waste. catalysts I can't help because I don't have much experience with them
