Orange Soapstone question

Well this is weird. I changed playing Dark Souls on ps3 for xbox and when I try to use the orange soapstone, the floor stays blank after I wrote a message. The animation is there, but the message isn't placed on the ground?? On PS3 I didn't have that issue.

Any ideas?

I have this problem sometimes on the xbox when trying to lay a summon sign. It will do the animation but the sign never shows up. I've also seen that half the time it does this I get invaded. I don't know if this is the case with the orange soap sign.

It could also be trying to appear in other peoples games so it's lagging as it goes through the servers. I'd trying going to another area and coming back to write the message if it's really important.

Thanks for your reply. Well no it's not that important ;-) But I just wondered why it happened. Also the PS3 version (I think I go back to that one lol) is much more busy and alive. I see ten times more bloodstains and messages lying around. On xbox it seems quite dead.

But that's from my experience.

try the pc version. Yeah you can have upgrade graphics and 60fps but it's more dead than the xbox. I went back to the xbox just to get some invading and summoning done.

Well, for me the difference between xbox and ps3 is huge. Go figure how busy the ps3 version is.

It happens sometimes for me, but very rarely, usually it appears just like it is supposed. But, most importantly, I hardly ever bother with OSS anymore and I just stopping reading messages altogether.
