    2013 is a great year for gaming and the list just keeps growing! Empty 2013 is a great year for gaming and the list just keeps growing!

    The great games and announcements just keep coming! I can't possibly play everything that is coming lol. Here is my short list of great games announced or released so far. Post your favorites here too:)

    1) Dark Souls 2 (obvious and better be a 2013 release). My guess is October since FROM released both of the other Souls games in October).

    2) Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate definitive version of a great game I missed on the wii

    3) Castlevania Lords of Shadow 3ds

    4) Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers (can't wait for this one)

    5) Shin Megami Tensei IV (maybe my most anticipated with dks2)

    6) Pandora's Tower (the wii's final swan song long overdue)

    7) Pikmin 3 (the first 2 are in my top 10 favorite of all time)

    8) Fire Emblem Awakening

    9) Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei (hopeful for release this year)

    10) Bravely Default: flying Fairy (hell yea just announced this morning)

    11) Disgaea D2

    12) Time and Eternity

    13) Fantasy Life ( probable for later this year and made by level 5 who also made Ni No Kuni.

    14) Time and Eternity

    15) The guided fate paradox

    16) Ni No Kuni (my favorite game this year and in my top 5 all time favorites!)

    17) God or War: Ascention (not my favorite series, but production values are always great

    18) The Last of Us

    19) Bioshock infinite

    20) Watch Dogs (I am not a huge fan of shooters but this game looks really interesting).

    21) Tales of Xillia

    *these are not in order of my favorites, but I will edit and add to the list as I see/ remember others. What a solid lineup, and we haven't even seen the e3 surprises yet!!! The Last Guardian anyone lol;)

    Agreed on Ocarina, but never been a Pokemon fan myself. 2 games does not a great year make I am afraid, no matter how good they were. Sheer volume of great titles this year is astounding.

    Well, I simply listed my 2 favorites I know people who list Banjo-Kazooie as their favorite all-time platformer and StarCraft is, to some people, almost a religion.

    And Mario Party, for better or for worse, brought an entire new identity to the games with friends genre.

    True. My point was to list all the titles I think are great and find out what everyone else is excited about. For the types of games I like, I have not seen this volume of QUALITY releases in this short span of time. So then, what are you looking forward to this year?

    Dark Souls 2 of course. silly I also really want to try Monster Hunter 3 when I get my Wii U back.

    Bioshock: Infinite did not impress me. :|

    I'm not exactly up to date on releases at the moment, so I can't answer. sad

    Also, Bioshock Infinite was highly underwhelming, to say the least.

    Yea, have to admit 98 was a hell of a year. Starcraft, suikoden, and friggin Baldurs's gate were all out that year as well:)

    I think I'm just too old, many people on here probably weren't even gaming in '98.
    i would have been 2 XD so i may have actually cus i used to play when i was in hospital for asthma

    I think I started gaming in 1998.I'd have been about 5 so it sounds about right.Had Resident Evil 2 and FFVII for my PS1.Resident Evil gave me nightmares for the next decade. :|
