Specialised Greatsword Build(s) - help me decide

so, i got 1 more character slot free and have theese 3 specialised greatsword builds waiting for me...if you'd have to pick 1 which one would it be and why? thx in advance. here are the builds:

(i'm not changing a thing about theese builds, but feel free to post your variants/builds as long as they are tailored to use A greatsword.)

what else is there to strife for when you have max scaling, nigh 1500hp and 76poise except fast rolling may i ask? keep in mind they are melee builds, they don't care about magic tricks.

Now THAT is a build.

IMO, any build working for Abyss Greatsword needs to use magic. While the weapon itself has the best AR, you're losing points by not using the FAI or INT requirements for magic arsenal.

You can always include Homing Soulmass (Good magic if you know the tricks) and Emit Force. These are good magics for low investment mages.

yes i know, in the planning stages the abyss build had twop and dark bead, one variation 45dex even, but i've shyed away from casting anything in the last months. and i have a lot of other chars that can equip about every magic combination with full potential. investing in ATT and equipping a talisman + cataclyst would cost me HP oder even more def. a lvl120 variant could do some nasty stuff though but i refuse to level further.

ok, started the abyss lurker right now, i think i'll have to delete another char to build the moonlight guy too, he looks too strong! thx for voting!

Abyss Greatsword would be most original/interesting, so my vote goes there.

Why in the Nine Hells do you not have CMW for your Obsidian Greatsword build?

^Because not everyone is interested in being overpowered and killing enemies in 3 hits.

Depends on sl, low level, ogs is great. 60-100 mlgs is the dogs. Abyss never used, so can't really comment, but I suspect the claymore is better.

with this build abyss sword does 40 more dmg and has superior reach, so it arguably is better than claymore. now if the claymore didn't have that ridiculous godly moveset...

Eh the moveset of the Abyss greatsword is iffy, specially the R2's 1hR2 is a slow 360° spin attack, which I guess could be used to counter backstabs; but it is too slow for my tastes. The 2hR2 is the jump attack which again is too slow and gives ample time to dodge. Also at my stats (Str 34, Dex 18, Int 18 Fth 18) my +15 claymore does a little more damage than my +4 Abyss Greatsword, perhaps once I get 40 Str and a +5 sword it will change.

i enjoy the fa'heck out my abyss build, but i never seem to get any satisfaction out of the abyssal greatsword with any build bellow SL130. there are so many other weapons that perform better with fewer stat investments if you are going for a sub 100 build.

so i would go with either the obsidian greatsword build or the moonlight greatsword build.

i have a lot of character that are more balanced and versatile, thus this thread with 3 guys that are supposed to only carry their equip and nothing else.
the abyss lurker is done since yesterday and i had a blast. i'm very satisfied with the results. i also think that the build would be much stronger at a higher slvl but i also love how the weapon balances the build at lvl100, reach and dmg are ridiculous enough, no need to have high hp, poise and defense values IMO.
cool story: the very first invasion @ lvl70 after grinding up enough points for my end/vit and just barely wield the sword was a super hi-lvl guy that gave me 600000+ souls...20 lvl ups instantly^^
