backstabs should not be banned. What if i miss completely close range with avelyn?? I expect to be backstabbed. What if you accidently backstab?? Happened to me earlier today, me and opponent were agianst the wall my life was low his life was low we both were randomly flipping and i attacked after a flip and boom backstab, unintentional.

And why ban magic??? Just ban twop and wog spam. Wog is fine imo when limited to 3 casts amd used defensivly to create room instead of spamming it chasing the person going for kill. Every other spell is fine.

the reason i picked those rules is because it will be a sudden death tournament. you only get one life, you lose once you're out. everyone will be dueling untill theres only two people left, then they duel for the championship, the winner will be awarded with bragging rights. after that there's gonna be duels for second ad third place. sign up everyone! write down your names here if you wanna participate.

And I agree too with the ban of offensive magic. Buffs only, that means buff your weapon or yourself nothing more!

accidental backstabs rarely happen, if they do both fighters stop and they decide if they want a redo or continue fighting. in the case of magic, since people are gonna more cautious cause they only get one life im thinking theyre gonna stay back and use magic to finish off their opponet which is the same reason backstabs are banned, some people might feel cheated because of it but if enough people area gainst it i guess we can have magic. also the whole one bs rule shouldnt apply here becasue one bs is all you need to win and as i said before some people might not like that since they only get once chance at the belt.

that's wha i had in mind, the people that get knocked out can host so the first hosts can partake in the fun.

Is dragon roar allowed? Actually, its Ok if is not because I seriously don't want to die after 3 hits

I will try to participate.

Rules:

1. No healing (See rule number 2)
   
2. No backstabs (Unintentional Backstab causes the battle to restart without re-summoning, both players use a Humanity or Healing magic to heal and Duel restarts)
   
3. No Direct-Damage Offensive Magic (Damage over Time spells such as Poison or Toxic Mist are ok as poisoning and toxic items are allowed)
   
4. All zero range related spells are allowed (self-buffs), but only one is "allowed", if you try to use a second, your opponent is within his rights to attack (most of the time they will let you such as Power Within and Sunlight Blade)
   

Duel will progress by the following:

1. Host summons in 2 Participants
   
2. Host moves to stand by ladder
   
3. Participants face the Host and bow
   
4. Once Host bows back (once), the duel officially begins
   
5. If the Duel is interrupted by an invader, closest participant to the ladder is responsible for dispatching of the invader
   
6. Once invader is dispatched, participants heal, and then dueling begins from step 2.
   
7. In the case of inadvertent Backstab, both participants heal, and then dueling begins from step 2.
   
8. In the case of a second inadvertent Backstab (performed by the same person who performed the first), the match is automatically marked as a draw (no winner or loser).
   
9. If a participant is responsible for two matches being made a draw, they become disqualified.
   
10. In the event of a participant being killed by an invader, the match is automatically marked as a draw.

Well, guess I'm out for this one. I've only got one SL120 build and it's an int build w/ low end and vit, completely unusable for a 'no magic' tournament.

Have fun guys, maybe by the next one I'll have a melee character to play with.
