First FC Tournament!

Haha, if I hadn't gotten sick I was actually planning on using a Chaos Ricards for my first fight.

I just realized I gave my praise to Joocy but I almost forgot, congratulations and great work everyone for participating in the first FC tourney! The competition sounds like it was great, and I commend each of you for joining in on the fun.

I just hope I can actually make the next one.

First off, congrats Joocy! That rapier is deadly. Nice job on second, king.

Second, I'm sorry for how I acted, for leaving so early. Pirate - you fought well, nice job. There were things going on my end that really frustrated me. And, for some reason, I thought it was sudden death - you lose once and you're out. I missed the fact it was 5 fights, the one with the highest win percentage advances. Now, I feel like a total idiot.

Although, in my defense, it is hard to play when you're looking for superglue to put things back together.

@Reim, heard you broke your controler or something, sorry about that.If we lived closer would have sent you a spare one I have...

@Baal sens sounds like a good change of scenery, looking forward to it.

Another thing, did the bracket thing work well? if we do another tourney we gotta talk to see how we get more organized and host better etc... or was everyone satisfied with how everything played out last night?

My only problems were not being able to summon everyone in my group and having only 3 people in it at the end.

Yeah, my controller broke. But, it was kinda my fault.

I'm down for another one. I really like team tourneys. It really adds to the strategy. But, I completely missed the fact it wasn't a single elimination tourney.

I liked the bracket idea. It prevents chaos, and we had plenty of players to make it work.

I shall make it to the next one!

Hopefully if there is another even more people can make it.

Thanks. He actually got me with the sunlight blade washing pole though. He had me on distance and damage, but we had some wicked cool fights! Ended up 3-1 him but we had a tie in there and he was really low hp on our last fight. That was a solid final. Joocy, that actually inspired my to finish my abandoned dmb/slb dex build. I stopped it because I could never work out the stats for sl 120.

That's the point when I stop playing a certain game, when I'm about to take it out on my controller, I have a crack on my old one from raging on it on MW3, my friend snapped his in half and taped it back together haha. Good thing DS doesn't make me rage like that, well, not since I fought O & S for the very first time(solo).

Im also making a new build. I need to do more dmg. My weapons does little dmg. Luckely i m a good evader so i may life longer to think your strategy.
This toon i have 60 end so i do can move and roll a lot.
Next toon i will take all my str en att out for more vit/dex

Green - end of 60? You cap out stamina at 40, so I assume you are putting in those points to allow heavier armor?

Every point increases end a little bit after 40 right? Maybe not that big difference but it does not?
I have a 34 hp so my new build is gonna be much different

Stamina caps at 40. The only reason to go above 40 is equipment weight.

Btw I am making another dex faith and then a str faith also, I was planning on doing
a mage but I really don't like sorcery in dark souls.

I would've participated, but was turned off by the no magic rule. I've gotten really bored with melee PvP now, my mage is the only one I still enjoy dueling with.

So if there's magic for the next tournament, or regular fight club, either way, I'm in.

For my FC builds, I usually have my vit at 50 and end at 40. You do not get extra stamina for anything above 40 end, only equipment weight. For the build I used last night, I had my end at 60. The big strength weapons weigh a lot, and if I want to use them and poise armor I have to go past 40. If you are sticking to lighter weapons, 40 end is plenty.

50 vit and Ring of FAP brings your HP to 1,800. Which is pretty good.

Our fights last night were really fun! You are lol hard to hit! We will have to spar sometime soon! I have a new elemental toon that would be a nice match to your claws toon. I will move it down to blight town for FC this week.

I think buffs would be fine, but no spear, clubs, scythes, etc. Any type of sword, katana, great sword, etc. would be acceptable. I am not sure how many people could be into it, but I thought it would force some players, me included, to try something new. Plus, it seems pretty cool to have different sword types go against each other.

I'm down for it. I have a new controller on its way!

"Swords" is really vague! Katanas, rapiers, curved swords, etc?

I do have a SL120 Katana build... But I'm pretty bored with it.

If you are in, then I am in. I could schedule something for next Saturday. Either blighttown or roof of sens. Not a tournament, but just a fun night of PVP.

I was thinking the sword groups listed below and weapon buffs.
Straight Swords | Greatswords | Ultra Greatswords | Curved Swords | Katanas | Curved Greatswords | Piercing Swords

I am just throwing the idea out there. If anyone is interested I will add it to the calendar.
