diablo 3 coming to ps3

so, anyone who played it on pc want to give a non-five year old perspective? i saw it posted elsewhere, but people post ridiculously worthless opinions of how bad it is.

my thought, is that these are just overly critical douches.

alot of games that people say are bad, are really just not perfect. which is a big difference. and even a game thats not perfect, OR good can still be FUN. and fun is the goal, i thought.

so i dont care about supreme graphics. or perfect utilization of in game mechanics.

i just wanna know. is it fun?

i trust most of you here to give decent replys, bash it as well if you want go for it. i'll just keep scrolling as will most.

I own it, I really didn't like it. It's not that it's bad per se, it's just that it offers nothing new in the gameplay and exploring is hardly ever fun/encouraged/fruitful, I think that this is due in part to the Auction House that Blizzard was investing in. Also, the story-writing was very amateurish.

On game balance... It's balanced around breaking ****. There is combo's players have found that exploit flaws in the game design, to keep enemies frozen 100% of the time, while allowing the player to move at 200% movement speed, and kill enemies by doing trillions of points of damage per second...

Unless you're using these broken combo's the game becomes impossible to play in the metagame as a result.

I have no idea why anybody would get excited for Diablo III on consoles, the game is a mess, plain and simple, it would be like PS3 fans getting excited that Sim City (the new one) is coming.

Hell, I'd rather have a copy of Diablo II on the PS3...at least that one *** worked!!!

Does anyone else feel like the PC release was just a glorified beta?

Geez. Guess this game is as bad as I was reading elsewhere...I was just thinking it was overly righteous diablo fans. Huh...taking a pass on this then. Its a shame, I never looked into it much when it came out due to my lack of a computer with decent specs to run anything decent.

but when i heard it was coming to ps3 I was excited at the idea...then quickly worried it was a disaster. Such a shame. Oh well money better spent elsewhere

When people talk about Diablo being amazing they are mainly referring to Diablo 1 and 2. 3 isn't all that great, I suggest you avoid it.

If I remember correctly it's also coming to the ps4, for some reason.I don't think it has very worked out graphics, quite the contrary, with all its cartoony style, so maybe it's just for higher framerate or online features?
Anyway I remember that the announcement actually disappointed a lot of people.When the blizzard represetants got on stage many were thinking it was going to be the reveal of Project Titan or whatever new game blizzard is supposedly working on.When they realized it was just a port of a game most fans disdained,well you get the picture.

In order to get into why Diablo 3 was a bad game, you need to put in far more time than a game reviewer has available: because what they messed up was the replay value.

The game is epic fun from level 1 through 60, but after 60 you unlock the highest difficulty, and Inferno is insanely bad when it comes to balancing. Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 were the great games they were because of replayability, which Diablo 3 lacks. (And actively avoids by the lack of character decisions).

The gameplay is 4 out of 5, but the always online DRM, the community, and the storyline were all incredibly lacking.
