I guess Havel could be one, but otherwise I think you misread.Soris Ice Goldwing wrote:1: No ideaDibsville wrote:Actually, there are a few things we CAN say, but only because they are plainly stated right in front of our eyes. Such as the Four Knights being followers of Gwyn.
But we can go more in-depth. Did they follow on their own will? Were they insane at the time? WAS THERE REALLY ONLY FOUR??
2: No idea
3: No and gameplay has proven that.

Sorry I read four kings. But I think there is enough evidence that there are only four Knights. Perhaps Ciaran trained the painting guardians?

Ciaran could be related to Ariamis.
It makes sense if you think about it.

Their attacks are similar and the guardians have trained in light armor. It would make sense that they were the original threat to outsiders trying to reach the painting before the things inside it moved in.

Re: I have a question...
All Priscilla wants is to be left alone. But oh no, here comes this so called chosen undead rampaging through her home murdering and pillaging, and Priscilla thinks the denizens of the painted are peaceful probably because they never bother her, unlike the chosen undead who barely even pauses for a brief conversation before hacking off her tail.
i also think it was Velka who had Ariamis "draw" Priscilla into the Painted World, but it was probably originally created to protect the occult ember, Velka's secret weapon against Gwyn and his children. perhaps Velka thought that Priscilla could be used against the gods in some way as well?
i don't think that the painting guardians are there to stop anyone from getting in, i think they are there to stop anyone from getting out of the Painted World with a powerful occult weapon that could be used against the gods, and were probably stationed there shortly after Gwyn discovered Havel's betrayal.
also i believe that Havel was a cleric not a knight.
