The Imaginary Tournament Series

Welcome to The Imaginary Tournament Series!!

Thanks to... mugenmonkey<--click ...we can pit our builds into dramatically fake and outraaaageous
scenario/s, and "poll it off" to see who will become the victor/s.

For the grand opening tourney,
we shall engage in a 2 vs 2, limited rule environment.

VS

Here are the following rules:

---

Builds:

-sl 120-125

-Use mugenmonkey.

-Builds are assumed to have 99 soft humanities, whether they are submitted that way or not.

-1 participant CANNOT duplicate build submissions, no matter how many entries.
Copycat builds from other participants cannot be avoided however.

-thats it.

Arena/s:

-The Kiln / Butterfly

-All enemies dead.

-Each player will be randomly spawned, but always within a 50-75 ft. parameter of each player at the start of the match.

-Players teammate cannot be harmed.

Conduct:

-Bow-->buff-->FIGHT

-Only glitches allowed are: dead angles and toggle escape.

-No Magic Mushrooms or Divine Blessings.

-1 hard humanity heal allowed per battle.

Submission Format:

-Every 8 builds submitted will be randomly paired in 2 separate battle matches. This will be their permanent partner.

-Each forumer is allowed to submit 2 builds per 8 entries. In the case of the "twin team", it will be considered irrelevant because of rule below.

-Each build will be imaginarily played by a video game robot
that plays Dark Souls pvp at a 85-99% efficiency ratio.
(He/it is hereby dubbed "Johnny 5" )

The "Poll-Offs":

-A poll will be created pitting the randomly drawn pairs in each scenario, along with their given "battlegrounds".

-The polls will last 3 weeks.

-The polls will allow you to change your vote.

-These are the threads where the forumers "smack talking" should really shine.
Convince people to change their vote.

Thanks for the heads up, but I think the only thing you wont be able to do is "talk smack"/defend your build in the polling threads.

Outside of the mugen links remaining stable and trash talking, there's not much for players to do.

Official Business

-Our pvp robot (outlined in op), shall be dubbed "Johnny 5" from the 80's movie Short Circuit. Again, he/it plays at a 85-99% efficiency ratio.

I went with team #2 for both of them... It is kind of hard to judge match-ups with these builds, they are all really weird? I thought the idea was to submit super optimal builds that would be seen in cash tournaments.

I haven't reviewed the match ups very extensively, I've just been doing quality control. But ya thats the idea dude, or at least thats the way I feel too....I cant wait to vote!
