I loved the NES original (called Dragon Warrior in the US). I'm still haunted by metal slimes....

you should definately play dqviii since it came out for the ps2 an they still sell it and i think its one of the best.

I'm playing it atm =3 I played it years ago but I never got to beat it since my brother deleted my save data off my ps2 before (The reason my rage toward him has never subsided >.<) I'm trying to beat it again, and it's still fun :3
