hello folks,
My playpal and I started new chars together to play a little pvp. We both have the Red Eye Orb and do some invasions. At appr. sl 80 he told me that something strange happend to him. He had a fight in Anor Londo and won and got 890000 souls! Then he went to the forest and invadet another guy and this guy somehow died without having seen him at all (maybe he fell from a cliff). And again he earned 870000 souls!
With 1,7 millions he could of course level up to sl 100 on the spot. He stopped at sl 100 because otherwise we possibly couldn't play together anymore (level cap). But of course he could buy everything that is possible to buy. (incl. Pyro Flame +15)
My question is: how can the game let this happen?
I thought there is a level cap! And just yesterday I was explained from experts in this forum that I get 10% of the souls the host need to level up. That means the host needed 8.9 million souls to level up??? On what level he must be?
Where is the level cap?
Maybe in the forest in is possible (because is is said that there isn't a level cap). But it should't be possible in Anor Londo, should't it?
A second thing was weird:
My friend invaded in my world but I saw a different player name and so he did! (we recognized each other because we both were carrying very specific equipment).
After our fight we looked under Players in the menu of Games for Windows Life and could not see a record of this fight. Normally one would expect to see a players name, (in this case the name of my friend) and the time I last met him (in this case appr. 2 minutes ago). But there was no entry of this fight at all.
These two things look to us very buggy! We play on pc (Dark Souls Prepaire to Die Edition)
Does anybody have an explanation for this?
On what level I must be that I need 8,9 million souls for the next level?
Many thanks for your reply.
Best wishes
