At that AR, since it hits the elemental breakpoint, it will be fine.

    Ehh...
Think of your weapon damage as a sort of build-up bar. Higher damage means faster fill up...
At a certain point you reach a spot where you would max out the bar in one hit, at this point your weapon does considerably more damage to enemies with higher defense.

It's damage output is higher than any elemental path so enchanted is a good idea

    Yes, the weapon is good.
It is, however, most optimal to have 2 weapons. A +15 and an enchanted, and to buff the +15 one, and switch to the enchanted when the buff wears out.

Regardless, enchanted is a great weapon upgrade path I wish we could see more of.

    Is an enchanted weapon viable?

Well, there is pretty much an entire covenant based around their usage, for one thing.
Secondly, Enchanted Broadsword at 50 intelligence = Master race of swords.
Third and foremost, you get spells to use while making the Enchanted weapon effective.

Oh yes, they are viable indeed.

    For the plug?
If I gave you a plug, where's the socket?
What is this plug, and what is it's intended use?

Enchanted weapons are actually the most powerful of the four scaling magic damage paths. If you have more than 40 Int, most weapons will be stronger Enchanted than Chaos or Lightning, unless your opponent is in all magic resist gear or something. Enchanted weapons can actually be good anti-mage weapons because some mages use the Dusk Crown which greatly lowers their MDef.

I can't see any reason to go to 30 and not push up to 32 for TCC CMW, even if you don't use TCC for the in combat spells the difference in a TCC buff and a Sorc Cat buff is big. 35 dex should honestly be plenty

I have a +5 enchanted uchigatana as a spare weapon for my level 55 sorceror, it's great for hacking down people who are more adept at dodging magic.
