How the hell did you get o ng+5 with no jump that's like 5 rings of sacrifce missed and no boss armour.

To jump you start sprinting, in the middle of the sprint quickly let go of the sprint button then press it again. If you do it fast enough you'll jump.
It's kind of hard to do at first, but once you get used to it you'll wish you could go back to rolling....

Gotta say... Took me a while to "Get it", and somewhat master "the jump". Best use for the jump is Anor Londo, right after first bonfire, first set of stairs going up. You can jump the railing on those stairs and skip the whole level, pretty much. That's not an easy jump but definitely makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I make it.
