I always thought it was ridiculous that a dex or str faith build could easily outdamage the MLGS with Darkmoon Blade. Is this spell worth it though? Can it do damage on par with the Darkmoon blade on an Int build with an Uchigatana?

Yes, as long as Dex is high enough. I think 40 Dex is all you need. CMW scales with your Catalyst. High Intelligence too.

I'm pretty sure with enough Int and the TCC, it can outdamage the DMB rank 2, though correct me if I'm wrong.

Hmm well I'm wondering if it'd be on par with the minimum stats required to wield. Don't think it'd be worth it to invest a lot of dex on an intel build.

Hmmm.... I wonder If a build with minimum dex for a katana and 50 INT would be better, or a build with minimum INT for CMW and 50 dex would be better.... or a build that balances it. Anyone have any info on this? I thinking you would have to find a balance but I really don't know for sure.

CMW does 1,4x your MagAdj. I'm rocking a Dex build with 25 INT, so I'm using the Oolacile catalyst, with 180 MagAdj. So that gives me 252 extra damage. If you have high int, a good catalyst and a weapon with high base damage, you could kick serious ***.
With the TCC at 50 int, you'd get an additional 410 damage with CMW. Only one casting though, unless you're going to collect it in multiple play-throughs.
