Well I mean now he can actually get nice STAB attacks.

Gyarados was so limited before the split

    Eh, I guess so.
He can learn Hydro Pump though, which is good enough even without the split, and superb with it.

    But Dibs

The accuracy sucked, and it only had 5 PP

Compare that to Waterfall when it became a physical attack

flinching, good damage, 100% accuracy, 15 PP

Everyone could counter Gyarados before the split, because earthquake can be seen coming a mile away so people just need Zapdos, or a faster electric type

Wish you could teach Waterfall to a Pokemon with Serene Grace.

Togekiss can learn a move that can flinch(Air Slash I think?), and he can have Serene Grace.

It can also learn Anchient Power so you've got flinching and +1 to each stat very often.

Yeah, Togekiss made Dunsparce... a dunce.
Dunsparce was practically worthless afterwards because Togekiss has innate speed.

I think you're missing the point of pokemon here:

You're supposed to pick a team you like the look of and think are cool, not just because they're got the best stats.. It's target audience is 5 year olds for a reason you know lol!

Oh but Serious, it goes so much more in-depth then that!
Even the very nature of each Pokemon effects the way it acts in battle!

Off of the top of my head, I know that Pokemon with Bold nature actually have higher defense than some other natures, but Bold Pokemon also have lowered attack.

A Pokemon's stats, moves, nature, the pokemon it defeats in battle, types, abilities etc. all affect how it performs in battle.

Dragonite is a pretty bad Dragon in Gen 5 because Salamence is faster stronger and has better abilities.

Just Kanto and Johto, you get to choose whether to be in Pallet Town first or the other one. I went with Pallet Town.

You can catch Johto Pokemon in Kanto. I just caught Spinarak and Ledyba. You can also catch Scythe and Pinsir in Viridian Forest, dear God.

    Hmm...

If I pick Kanto I get in my opinion, a worse region.

If I pick Johto I get Whitney's Miltank.

I'll risk Miltank rage, Johto it is!

Where do I download the client?
