    I think it's safe to assume we all have computers right? My idea this week: A group of us decide on a free-MMO computer game to play and we all play it together.

    Maple would be great Lunar, but if I recall correctly it's pretty region locked unless you have a previously activated account. I do have a Maple Global account though.

    I was excited to see this thread. I thought you're going to suggest some other game, similar to Souls that we could play together. I never thought you'll come with some crap like "free" (you know they're far from free, right?) MMORPG, on a totally different platform, than the game, this forum revolves around is on.

    Also, a low quality games like these? Go bring 20 of this, go kill 30 of that? How desperate can someone be to play that? It's the most boring thing you can do in an RPG.     If you wanna hang out together that badly, you don't need a pseudo 3D chat with avatars that can kill things. This forum serves very well in that regard imho.

    I disagree. Chatting on a forum and playing an MMO together are two entirely different things. While the forum offers chatting, the game offers several topics to argue, discuss and laugh about. Even if you do boring grinding, doing it together makes it more fun. Actually, something me and my friends do on MMOs is, we make characters together, pick classes to fit eachothers gameplay and make an excellent team, then only level together. It's loads of fun!

    Sorry, but I don't understand that.
    I tried a lot of MMORPGs and never had any fun grinding, or farming, no matter how many friends I had there. In the end all I did was chat with, which I can do here as well, without the boring stuff, like having to kill 30 wolves, just cos the game tells me to do it, without any good reason.
    Team? What for? Just to kill some mob with high numbers? C'mon that's some cheap programing sh*t and you know it.

    To be fair, I tried it. I was part of a very good clan in MGO and a lot of friends there. Since MGO servers got shut down we don't hang out anymore and miss it. All we do is just wait for MGO 3, if there will be any (qualities aside). One of us had the bright idea to go play DCUO, since it's "free" and so we did. Even though a lot of us like RPGs, we dropped one after another in matter of three weeks at best. We figured out we can chat over FB, or PSN. We don't need to waste our time with the usual MMORPG crap just to chat with friends. Yeah we don't play together, but playing an MMORPG together wasn't satisfying at all.

    I'm not sure what that means, but that's just me mate.

    I didn't know I could Skype from PS3. Even so, I see no reason to Skype with you guys. I can talk to you via PSN and the newly added chat in here. If it's voice communication you have in mind, then count me out.

    My probem isn't what you wanna do, You can do whatever you want. I was just dissapointed by this thread. I expected something different, is all.

    I'm no fun? I'm so hilarious that I made a guy in enemy team drop his grenade, when he was about to throw it and kill them all.

    Perhpas I have a different idea of fun.
    For me, fun is going rambo with knife against 6 fully armed guys and slaughtering them under one minute.
    For me, fun is playing Halo CE CTF and keeping KD of 100-10 while camping enemy flag.
    Fun is jumping into online Ur-Dragons face and see his HP move down.
    Fun is invading gankers in the forest and killing them all while doing some supposedly nasty emote above their dead bodies. It's like teabagging, really. facepalm.gif
    Fun is forcing the guy who was first the whole race crash into a gas station and see his hopes of vicotry go out with a spark.
    Fun is exploring unkown place, filled with threats that can easily kill you, while trying to manage your limited resources.

    Grinding and farming is not fun. It's like going to work. It's boring and it's a waste of life.

    Edit:
    I think I got to the point where I type so fast my PS3 can't keep up and does typos for me.
    Fixing those in html is a pain though...

    Never played Pokemon World Online so I'm not familiar with it, and I've only played PokeMMO for a short time so I don't know all the issues with it.

    Den I haven't played either that much, but pokeMMO is way buggier- it's missing lines of text too.

    But seriously though guys- Pokemon world online would be great. If we even only had 6 of us, each could have one of the starting pokemon on the game big grin

    Why? Because of teamwork. It doesn't matter if it's "cheap programing" or not, because that isn't what it's about. It's about having fun. Maybe you're just too picky. Try reconsidering it.
