Xbox One = Abyss in my wallet.

From the interviews ive seen, the Xbox One is going to be a complete waste of money. Here are just a few of the nightmares waiting to happen.

>Cannot play 360 games.

>Bigger, Uglier Kinect.

>You get to use apps! Like your phone!................

>Pre-owned = nonplayable.

>Your memory will get sucked up quickly... How? Games get installed to your hard-drive, so other people can't use them, and you don't need to use the disk anymore................................ Oh geez. Good idea.



Don't get me wrong, I love the Xbox360 as much as the next guy, im not flaming on them or anything. Im just kind of mad that Microsoft is trying to destroy our budgets and thinks we are mindless drones who will buy anything they put on the market.

Don't come here to argue, you'll be wasting your time. This is just a place for me to let out my anger.

Please tell me if they are getting rid of these ridiculous ideas, or if it got worse.

I still don't understand the need for any disc in this case. Why not just download the game instead? I mean, you will use the disc for 20 minutes it takes you to instal the game data and then you're done with it, but you can't sell it, nor rent it? That makes zero sense to me.

I think there are only two thing Microshizzle can do to save the day.

#1 Hope that Sony will screw up even more than they did. Sony is expert at screwing up, so that's quite possible.
#2 Get developers, like Kojima Productions, From Software, Rockstar to make games exclusively for Xbox.

MicroSoft really screwed up this time, I mean with a next gen console? You don't cross the lines of stupidity there, especially when we are this far in the gaming world.

I still suggest people go to the link I posted earlier, it very much explains some things, even if you do not agree fully with the man talking. The person explaining it is Totalbisquit, and he has a reputation for being honest about his opinions and attempting not to be biased.

Sony isn't so far off actually on a few of these. They're just hiding it better.

For instance, I've seen hints that they also want to have games install on the machine from the disc. One interview I read suggested this strongly as I believe it was said (sorry, no lynx) that the "Play while it's downloading" feature was also applicable to disc based games.

The war on used games is underway already in Sony land. I just got Soul Sacrifice already and saw that it came with a code to unlock online play. Hmmmm.....interesting. Very interesting. I forgot to redeem it before booting up and when I went to do an online feature it asked me to verify my online license and brought me to the PSN store. Where I saw that, without my code, the online pass costs $10. I don't believe this is the first instance of this occurring in a game. But the bottom line is that I can sell the game but anyone wanting the full experience will still need to pay Capcom $10.

Xbox, for the record, has led me to believe that they haven't hammered out all the details on their used game ideas (aka, we wanna see the backlash and make changes if necessary). I expect them to take a similar approach.

The complaints I keep hearing are that the buyer of a used game is essentially buying everything the original person did, save a used disc (that the first person only needed briefly anyway). Smart money is on the second user only needing to purchase a license to play all or part of the game instead of what it sounds like at first.

So yeah, I'm buying the PS4 sometime in the near future. Just dropped in to insult the Xbox One, so uh...

Unless at E3 they come out and say 'just kidding, about everything' nobody should buy this crap. Anyone even remotely trying to defend it is a fool. There is nothing to gain, Xbox one is pretty much a fancy TV remote. And its a shame.
