Beware of weapon glitch!

i made a thread like this in the old forum and i still don't know if anyone else has experienced this...i don't know if this is a glitch or a hack but i have fought two people who were using their current weapon with another weapon's moveset, one guy was swinging the zweihander like a greatsword (stunlocking me to *** with those two-handed vertical slashes) and one was swinging a great sword like a broadsword...i can't be the only one whos seen this right?? i'm on psn btw

You know the "greatsword" weapon its actually a Ultra greatsword, just like the zwei. And if the "broadsword" you are talking about is a straight sword, then I'm worried.

I haven't seen this before. Sorry.

If that's really the case, I'm a bit alarmed. Using an ultra-greatsword with a dagger moveset could really break the game. Especially if the range persists.

yes i know the different weapon movesets carphil lol, zwei is an ultragreatsword, so it has those wide arcs that hit the ground when you two-hand it..it CAN NOT be swung vertically as fast as a great sword, and i just remembered, the guy was swinging a claymore like a straight sword/broad sword.. i'm worried too =/

I experienced it, and I would say it's a bug not a glitch. The guys I have found usually have great zwei hander a swing it vertically, then I message them and they tell me they saw their moveset normally so it's probably a bug that happens online and only the opponent experience it, I read in an old thread that someone was fighting a guy who was using Smough's hammer and he saw him doing the same movesets Smough do with all the jumping and the charging with hammer. Then he messaged the guy and he told him he saw his moveset was the standard one too.

You know, it can also be lag. Sometimes when I invade or I'm invaded, I change weapons in the inventory, but the weapons looks does not change in the hand of my character, but I can swing just like the weapon I swicthed. after the lag, the weapon look is switched. I believe that is what happened.

yeah it being a bug makes sense, i've seen the weapon change delay too, but for it to last a whole fight? the lag wasn't that bad if i remember correctly

what lvl was this? maybe its a hidden bonus for having like double the required str to wield a heavy weapon ( unlikely but.. would make sense..)

Lag, bug, GLITCH... It wouldn't surprise me if they found a way to swing strong weapons like a knife... Shame though, if it is actually a glitch you could see the end of PvP in this game.
