Forest Invasion SL ranges - SL 380 numbers up

This is halfway done.  I've invaded in the forest at several different
SLs.  I wrote down all the Host SLs that I killed.  100 hosts per
build.  I still have a few higher SLs to test.  Here are the results.

SL 10, Median = 48:

SL 55, Median = 57:

SL 80, Median = 83:

SL 100, Median = 114:

SL 120, Median = 120:

SL 150, median = 162:

SL 225, median 261:

SL 380, median 399:

More to come.  Next up is 713.  Then, I'll round it out with SL 1.

Actually, no. I just invade by the bonfire for convenience.

well as you know Im a burg hunter I wait in burg to be summoned. Its all about location depending on were you stand.
1) above merchant where two spears you spawn by the trench that leads to stone bridge
2) below 2 spears spawns by stairs
3) burg arena spawns in litter box


I noticedthis awhile ago and for me its 95% of the time a few a very few I was between these places and spawned in the trees near the stairs and trench

I dont know where the spaces between these areas or on the other side of the burg.

Reim we should get hunters to experiment and post what locations spawn us where this would make us dangerous as hell imagine two phantoms consistantly invading at once in the same spot

Will do. The next half will take me a few weeks to complete (400 kills left, and it is becoming tougher at the higher levels), but I'll just edit the first post.

I'll start asking for Levels while Invading in the Forest and pass it on to you

30 hosts down as of last night. I should have SL 120 wrapped up by this weekend, at this rate.

Long time no see Reim. Never got a chance to ask you what level you were when you unfortunately invaded by friends world. Was it about the 200 or 300 range? It was on 6/2 when I saw ya. It was a busy night, we also killed Garo too.

That was my 120. It is part of my "Growing up in the Forest" build. I start with a pyro, and build a character up. I stopped at SL 10, 55, 80, 100, 120 (and there will me more). The trick is I have to make it a different build at each level (elemental, dex, pyro, mage, etc). So, it is not ideally maximized. It is still fun though.

That is a very smart idea Reim. I commend you on that idea. It will also allow you to fight players outside of 120 in all areas of the game. Instead of facing only high level in the forest areas. Since I am high level I tend to face the majority of Japanese invaders. Its usually about an 80 to 90 percent clip. Hope to see you soon again as you begin to create your higher level toon. Updated the list. SL 120 is done. Off to 150.

I'm almost done with 150 (15 kills left). The SL ranges I've invaded are much larger. You'll notice a big difference between the average and the median with this one. For my 225, I'm thinking about using Arty's Sword. We'll see how it goes.

150 is done.  The range was 121 - 712.  There is a stark difference between the median and average. The median is the 50% mark.  So, at the median, half of the hosts were lower and half were higher.  The average was much higher indicating a broader invasion range.  Inn the 150 level, there were no outliers to take out.  I invaded multiple people in the 100s, 200s, 300s, 400s, 500s, and 700s.  

225 is up next.  That'll be a hybrid build.  I'm taking a short break to try out my event build to see how viable it is.  But, I'll get back and do 225 and 380.

Oh, and 600 host kills and counting

The question is do many people use the 120 cap for the forest?

Bump. I got burned out of the forest (as usually happens there). Took a break, and am now ready to get back into my growth. I left off at 60 kills at 225. So, I'll try to finish 225 this week and hopefully get to the 380 level and invade there.

Thanks, wilk. Still haven't gone back into the Forest. I'm not sure why. I've been doing a lot of Coop. I'm pretty rusty at PvP now. Just ask billy, lol.
