E3 Dark Souls 2 Live Streaming today 5:40pm

IGN will be live streaming the E3 convention on their website.... Apparantly follow the link below and check out the line up on Tuesday for the Dark Souls 2 demo

We might see more of the same areas but I assume the demo will show different parts (thinking back to dark souls demos, we saw the burg and parish areas, and the last demo showed duke's archives).
We will probably see a new E3 trailer as well.

Do anyone know if there will be some kind of hands on booths where the press and visitors can play the game, like they had at E3 2011?

Funny if they streamed in on Xbox one and the framerate was horrible lol.

As much as I want to see it, it'll be up at 3am so I'm personally just going to watch it after I wake up.

Err... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the show starts at 12 PST which would end up being 8 pm today in England?

I might be totally off, but I can't see how if the show starts in 1 hour for me, it starts in 11 for you?

IGN says it starts at 5:40pm PDT which is UTC-7. And since I'm UTC+3 it means it starts at 3:20 am for me. At least that's what Google told me. And it's 6pm here.

just seen an interview at E3 talking to the directors on gametrailers.com and there are three new characters / build types showing, look pretty cool too!

a few changes from the 12 min footage too:

lock on isnt blue anymore, back to white as DS
after killing an enemy the souls seem to float around for a bit then then enter your character
no sign of the day / night symbols in the top left near health / stamina bar

Looked great today. Awesome cloacks and great builds. Hopefully we`ll get a better glimpse as e3 continues.

yeah the cloaks looked really good, liking the fabric movement as your character swerves around.

the interview was really short man, it didnt tell us much more. The video was interesting tho. Just tried finding a link for ya but its part of a 1 hour stream, will have a look again later.

The intervview werent that great...mostly things we already knew. And the camera kept going in to gameplay and on the interviewers so it was just glimpses of new things. Of course what you saw was pretty awesome. Hopefully we`ll get a direct feed gameplay vid in the coming days.

Oh man... I love cloaks. Cloaks and axes are basically the best things ever. I want to make a cloak out of axes.

Replacing kick? That makes me think of Demon's Souls. I wonder if it'll be that way for every weapon - and when he says sun stones, I wonder if those are drop stones from the first IGN gameplay video?

Things i noticed

-The Moon symbol in the HUD is gone
-Halberd have a 2-hand new strong attack, a 360 spin
-Pyromancy reworked? may be able to use it with a catalyst
-ESTUS FLASK!

Estus flasks! Halberds! White lock-ons! Giant meteor sorceries!



This, along with the gameplay impressions by someone else over at GT, alleviated a lot of my fears about Dark Souls II. Still concerned about the 'streamlining' they keep mentioning, but the promises of equal (or greater!) difficulty in the sequel are a relief.
