New E3 Trailer - Go Beyond Death

Microsoft E3 Conference Trailer.



They did show a trailer for Dark Souls 2 that I haven't seen before. Mostly whacking things with a greatsword. One thing of note is the Mirror Knight was in it and does look to copy your character with his shield so he'll probably be a doppleganger boss. Anyone else catch it?

very sick of the main character at this stage, and the character animations....
still, some cool looking enemies including the mirror knight....!

i need to watch it again!!!

The Mirror Knight looked awesome as sh*t!

am really hoping to see playable demo footage in the near future!

Still drooling over it. The scenery looks so much better on this trailer!

Have to say I am also bothered by the same character being shown over and over. I can't help but feel there is some meaning into that. I wonder if we're being shown the new "Oscar".

Oh and definitely march 2014 as it appears at the end of the trailer...

thoughts on trailer;
the
character animations look terrible, but the environments look great, as
do most of the enemies. the lighting effects look *** awesome
aswell. the music is TERRIBLE. the trailers that were made for dark
souls 1 were much better in my opinion, the
footage for this one is fairly boring cept for the last battle, and the
last shot of the main character attacking the screen is lame as. still
excited about this game though, disappointed the release is so far away

Yeah, kind of makes it look like a action hero game. It was almost better when I watched it muted.

maybe i'm the only one who didn't mind the music a lot, also I don't think the Mirror Knight spawn a doppelganger. I've watched it a few times and the enemy that pops out is wearing the Elite Knight set

yeah, i thought it was the elite knight set aswell

The only thing I don't like about the video is the editing. Too much trying to make the new Oscar look B to the A with the views, cuts, etc. and not enough letting the game speak for itself. The environment looks amazing. Enemy design is pretty sweet. I like the main trailer guy. Weapon design looks Soulsy enough for me. Everything, literally everything, but the editing looks amazing.

Yeah, I didn't really like all that "edgy" editing either.

But yeah, Mirror Knight looks fantabulous!

I, for one, am impressed of what I saw in this trailer. The graphic is astonishing and I personally don't mind the animations. The scenery looked amazing, and I really find the mirror knight interesting.
The music was very out of place, though. I would have preferred music which stayed true to Dark Souls. All in all, it made me realize how far away March 2014 really is.

I'd have been happier with 1:30 of someone wandering through a level.

(ps, to all the bs haters, The turtle knight thing with the giant mace did something that looked suspiciously like a bs, mwa ha ha.)

Appears to be boss hallway with all the statues coming to life and some mage guy at the end taunting us. I'm reminded of the Anor Londo boss fight zone from the look of the area and the guys having spears similar to Ornstein's.

Mage guy that we'll prob be happy to smack in the face after hallway of spears. He's overshadowed by Mirror Knight though in this trailer, heh.

Waiting for March is going to be torture The trailer showed us some more content so I'm happy with it.
