Lunar Magic vs Summoning magic

Which do you prefer? Do either of them have any place in future Dark Souls games? General discussion? Oh. And How would I get a hold of the Dark Souls 2 team? I'm going to send them my ideas hopefully after I edit them a little with some feedback.

I'm going to for sure, but I wanted to get one last batch of insight to clean them up before I send them in.  I know usually it's annoying, but you'd really be helping me out if you completely picked them apart and told me what exactly you think about them.

Well lunar weapons strike me more of what enchanting should have been in the first place..summoning magic on the otherhand seems like it could be hit or miss overall depending on how its balanced

Enchanting?  You mean the weapon buffs?  Explain?

Both threads are pretty good. I enjoyed how you classified and managed to make complicated ideas into simple descriptions. Do it and apply to from. As a moon fan, I'm going to say the Lunar magic thread is a bit more organized in terms of pratical uses, but both ideas are really good.

Yea I guess you're right about that.  When I thought of it, I mainly thought about balancing issues up to the standard level caps.  But a Darkmoon guy that's 100 levels above you would be pretty OP I suppose.

I'm a big fat summoning junky. I love the premise of summoning, and in any game where summoning other things to fight for you is possible I do it.

One thing I'd say about summoning is that I personally do not want to lose control of my main character ever. I much prefer systems where you direct your minions in some fashion, or they simply act on their own. Simple commands like "go forward" or "come here" or "attack my target" tend to work well.

That said As hard as I try I cannot imagine summoning in a souls game. The regulated paced combat is just not meshing with the idea of having say a phantom bear maul things for me. Perhaps my imagination is just broken but I just can't see it.
