I think a Thread like that could be useful . Despite it being 2013 there is still a lot of hostility towards *** and lesbians .
So a Thread like that might help someone to cope with it or rant about these stupid ignorant People or maybe open up to this Forum .

Lol, you're referring to the brony thread was so that brony chats didn't take up most of random off topic Also certain members used to respond to everything on the forum with links to fluttershy saying "Yup" or "okay" etc so it was kinda to stop that as well

To be honest, if the LGBT thread would just turn into a rant against people who don't agree with open trans gender or alternative sexuality then I'm even less inclined to want it to happen, as then it's just promoting flame wars even more..

I'd say if a LittleBig Planet sees the need to discuss things he should just make it and see what happens .

What about a trial run.

Make the thread, and if it gets bad, then lock it...or whatever. not sure how this forum works.

But we cant really make preliminary presumptions as to the nature of the pertaining thread without seeing it in action.
We can speculate all day but it wont change anything.

Maybe rants isnt such a good idea, as that could cause problems. But i dont really see the issue if it was people just discussing SFW experiences and opening up to people, maybe even getting advice. it could be a nice little community if it takes off well.

The thing is that we had a "Gender Issue" Thread not too long ago and it exploded .

I don't think it would happen again though . So again, if a LBGT sees the need, make a Thread about it . That's what a Forum is for lol

LittleBig Planet was a Game for the PS3 and it was usually reffered to as LBGP .
I thought it would lighten the mood because it looked simliar to LBGT .

Also im pretty damn sure there would be a few homophobes shaking sticks at us.

Well i have lil' big planet, but thought it looked like one of the admins cheeky name changes like Some guy

Anyways, to be perfectly honest here, I'm the newest mod (only for just over a month) and I'm not comfortable giving this the ok. I think I should take it over my head for the admins to consider. I have no experience regarding threads like this in forums so honestly I can't know whether it'll be a good thing or not.

As the poster above me said though, dunno what the need is. SFW experiences sounds a bit iffy to me in terms of content and if people need advice then that's why we've got the let it out thread...

Nah, ive been into it for quite a while now, im not sure how long specifically, but i think it was about a year after the show started and people started getting into it? something like that.
i was quite neutral on the subject, however i refused to watch it. "aww hell no, why are all these freaks into watching a little girls show" and i was like that for months, then one day, i saw people discussing it on 4chan. decided to force myself to watch the first episode. wasnt too bad... not great though. "oh look, its a two parter, may aswell watch the second half" two seasons later, i was on my knees begging for season 3 like everyone else at the time. I was not expecting anything like what came after.
Became 'slightly' obsessed for a while. Moved on from that. but i constantly read fanfics. In total over the past year if i had to add em all up ive read about 15,000,000 words worth of mlp fanfiction. Theres so much variety its rediculous, If i want romance, theres plenty. adventure? by the handfuls. Gaming related stories? FALLOUT EQUESTRIA MAAAAN.

This show is good. This fandom is epic. Theres not much more i want from mlp.

I wrote too much for that simple question.

Only that i was into it in the dark MLP ages of /co/ and /b/, and aborted it for half a year .
I got into it again when i saw the German dub of it (when Season 2 was almost over) and now here i am .

Its nearly always fimfiction, But i sometimes use fanfiction.net.
Im a sucker for a sad story or movie though. i get too emotionally invested and end up in tears most of the time XD

I've been reading this for the past few Weeks .

It's a bit long and it starts out slow but it's my favorite Story and i think it's incredible that he managed to keep me interested for more than a Million Words .
And it also has a lot of enjoyable OC later on too .

Only the Sex scenes are annoying, but you can skip them and you don't miss any of the Story if you do .

Any recommandations for me ? I pretty much read everything except Clop .

The first is about Scootaloo, it's a One-Shot and pretty in-your-face-sad .

The Second is about a Pony that witnessed Discords arrival a thousand years ago and travels together with him through the land so that the People get to know their new Ruler while teaching Discord how to properly behave, it has a pretty cruel Ending  .

Both are pretty f*cking sad

Hehe, read it. good story, would recommend to a lot of people.
