is the easiest parry in the gameEasiest parry..?

Pretty much what the topic implys really, what do you guys think is the most easiest parry in the game. Anything goes in terms of weapons, pvp, pve, bosses, normal enemys..?

Im going to go ahead and suggest what i think, those dead zombies, reddish colour, with the torches when they lean forward and try to set you on fire, i swear that attack has like a 10 second parry window okay maybe exagerated a little bit

Silver Knights.

Probably the Silver or Black Knights. Gwyn is a close second for me though.

Really the ones using the spears/halberd always get me, either get an easy parry or i miss constantly, i usually play using low vit builds like the challenge, so i find them ****ing me over quite often haha

On my first playthrough I didn't really parry at all lol, but in NG+ I am experimenting a lot more. So far I have found the silver knights easiest to parry.

Looks like silver knights/black knights are overwhelming at the moment, anyone got any others? (doesnt have to be easiest if its clear that its the knights but something still very easy)

The trick is to watch their shoulder. Their "R1" and "R2" attacks have the same animation but different startups, but basically as soon as you see their shoulder release and start the swing is when you want to parry. Since both versions have the same startup animations you can't really tell by muscle memory or timing.

The Undead Hollow Soldiers with Long Sword. Those guys are easy as hell to parry. Great for practice parry in PvE too.

Ricard. He was almost impossible till I realized if you parry right when he raises his rapier to vertical you can't miss.

Yeah gotta be silver spear knights. That big sweep is just silly.

Club trolls for me. I can consistently parry them. Makes fighting them easy. Over in seconds, and the parry gives me i-frames from the other one attacking me.

Maybe it's from fighting so many of them, but I find the darkwraiths in new londo ridiculously easy to parry.

and strangely enough the hollow soldiers in burg are the harder ones to parry for me... their hits are sooooo slow that you cant tell when they are going to drop that broken sword on you!

Those zombies in blighttown are super easy to parry. As regards to silver knights, i find most of them easy to parry, but for some reason i cant seem to parry the ones with the spears.

I have to say gwyn is the easiest.

Please forgive my ignorance but what exactly do you have to do to parry. I thought that parry was either blocking with your shield or using your shield as a weapon as the enemy strikes. Am I correct or is it some other move I've yet to discover.

L2 on PS3 makes you swing your shield, thats trying to knock the enemies weapon out of the way so you can get a critical hit, a Parry is deflecting the blow (not blocking) and the Riposte is the attack that follows.
