Re: Fantasy Proper Football League
They can't be worse at passing than England. 3 passes in they seem to forget they're supposed to retain possession and lump it to nobody in the opposition half.
Also my reply box is messed up, can only see the various options at the top and not the text box itself. So can't quote, edit or do anything other than a quick reply which sucks.

Re: Fantasy Proper Football League
No I get where he's coming from. I actually find it ridiculous that people are pursueing Januzaj to play for England when the guy didnt step foot in our country till he was like 16. I mean I don't mind if people grow up here, but if they move here when they're 18, live for 5 years and play for England on a technicality I find it a bit silly.
For me it just depends where you grow up, if you're born in Germany but move to Britain at 3 and grow up here, I'd consider them more English than German due to the country they were raised in.

Re: Fantasy Proper Football League
What about the people pushing for Diego Costa to play for Spain? Wasn't he even older than Januzaj when he moved to Spain?

It's getting worrying. All these countries trying to claim young foreign talent as its own. I want to see England vs Spain not Premier League All Stars vs La Liga All Stars.

Re: Fantasy Proper Football League
Same onion. I mean it's common place in things like cricket, athletics and rugby, but because the leagues/competitions aren't all about money it means that it doesn't upset the balance of international sides too much.
With england, if they coax januzaj into playing for england (he shouldn't, he's too good for us) the it opens windows to half the players in the premier league playing for us. That's something I'd really be sad to see.
THough turns out ENgland weren't that boring last night, 4-1 win, though the scoreline flatters us quite a lot. 2-1, 3-1 at a stretch would have been a fairer result.

Re: Fantasy Proper Football League
Dudes it's been going on for ages, spain had puskas and distefano in the 60's, Italy had a boatload of argentinians. don't get me started on the grandfather rule and ireland. Look at germany, Boateng plays for them and his brother is with Ghana. Portugal if you're brazilian you can get a portugese passport, a lot of EU countries you only need to be there 2 years to get a passport

I'll try and keep you chavs from stabbing one another once Carroll returns. I know you'll all want him but try and be civil about it.

Suarez with 2 already, bloody hell if we'd signed him, then again we'd have no ozzie and lol at utd.

united showing their credentials as a midtable team once again.
Suarez is so good. Though even if suarez was there, I'd still want Ozil if I was an arsenal fan
cue the flood of articles talking about arsenal being able to "win ugly" and show "resilience" after the match this weekend
