Hey, got a Str/Faith build, and I was wondering if the Divine from the Grant would help or not in the DLC? I've only got the DLC and Gwyn left, so I wanna know if the Grant would be helpful. Idk, I've never used it.

DLC from what I've read is strong against split damage, although magic based damage beats elemental damage there.
Unless you're a str/faith hybrid and used to heavy weapons it's hard to picture grant being any significant PvE advantage there.

Yeah, most of the enemies in the DLC are much more resistant to elemental damage than they are to physical. Also, none of them are affected by the grant's divine boost. You'd be better off using a great club and buffing it (hell, a great club would probably be better even without a buff).

I've got the Demon Greataxe. I guess I'll just use that. I was wondering because I know SLB will pretty much be useless against Artorias, at least. Idk what else is really lightning resistant, but I figured maybe magic damage from the Grant would be better than straight up Greataxe, but I guess not.
