by shinobi667 Tue Oct 29, 2013 1:24 pmI defeated Ornstein and Smough today, i killed ornstein first and he dropped his soul when he died, i picked it up before finishing off super smough. when smough died he dropped the leo ring, so i upgradded a spear to +10 to get the dragon slayer spear but when i checked my inventory i had the soul of smough...is this a bug?

You get soul of whoever you killed last. So smough is correct and are you sure about the leo ring?

thats what i thought, why did ornstein drop his soul when i killed him first? and i diddnt collect it automatically, i had to run over and pick it up :/
but yeah im sure about the leo ring, will check my inventory again to see if its still there.

Yeah sounds like a bug, you shouldn't have gotten the leo ring at all. The no ornstein soul is correct though.

just checked and yes i do have the leo ring...its wierd that i picked up souls of ornstein but it must have changed to smough's when i killed him

It'd be interesting to see what armour Dom is selling under the bridge. Does he have Ornsteins and smoughs for sale.
