BB Glitch and Covenant Rewards

First some exposition. I just tried to get the Gravelord Sword Dance on my newest faith build which I BB glitched some slabs onto since it uses full Cleric Armor that I wanted to upgrade (I only ever BB glitch stuff like this to cut down on farming btw ), but upon trying to join the Gravelords it did not give me the miracle. I theorized this is probably because I BB glitched from my Black Cleric build who used the Gravelord Sword Dance miracle and the BB glitch probably remembered that it had obtained it (in the same way it remembers sin), therefore not allowing me to obtain it on my new character. I was thankfully able to farm up EoDs and rank up to get the Greater Sword Dance miracle, so my spell loadout wasn't affected much, but now onto the main question I was meaning to get to:

Does the BB glitch remember covenant rewards and disable them on the "glitched-onto" character, or did my game just mess up on me?

what you could do is join it and since you were level 2 you need to join another cove then join the gl cove and you'll be at zero rank then rank up and you'll get the reg dance. not sure if that makes sense to you so sorry.

^ Can you do that for any cov to get multiple of an item? ie, another Darksword or more sunlight spears?

And how do you get multiple Cov spells in NG+ since your cov doesnt reset?

This happened to me with DMB, didn't matter though since it was on my INT build.

if you join a covenant after using the glitch you need to get absolution and that will knock you down to the beginning rank again. i had the same issue with getting the great lighting spear miracle on a bb glitched character.

Nope, at least not for Forest Hunters, otherwise I'd be dropping hundreds of Rings of Fog in worlds haha.

Shows you why you should suck it up and just create a new character and either not bother farming or be prepared to farm, eh reaper?

The bb glitch can cause problems with any covenant, but it most commonly causes problems with Gravelord Servant and the Sunbros, apparently due to the similar ways in which both hand out covenant rewards and miracles. The usual result is that you miss one or more miracles as you advance in covenant rank. It's not consistent between players; sometimes you will receive the intro miracle, but never get the second miracle no matter how many EoD/sunlight medals you feed in. Quitting and rejoining the covenant or getting absolution will not always fix it even if you drop rank below the miracle you want and then rank back up again. As folks have said it seems to be based on the covenant data that your original character had before you glitched, but the consequences are somewhat random. Personally, my experience has been that the game will glitch whichever covenant you really, really want to be in on your new character, as a bb punishment.
