Russian Roulette Duels

I am sure I have a blue slab on one of my toons, I will check later tonight and get back to you. Do you need more than one white and red slab? Cause I am sure I have them on other chacters too.

I just need one of each. One red, one white, and one blue. I'll get the white by the time we meet(Most likely), but I will need the blue and red. I'll put some time into spamming the guardians and the wyverns to get more scales and chunks. I also have a good amount of white and red chunks too. Lot of blue too.

I have a blue slab on my lvl 51 egghead, but I should be able to trade with the red soap stone, and I'll just run and get the red slab later on today, it shouldn't be that hard.

I can't tonight, but I'm sure we can meet online tomorrow. I will still be working on my 'Prayer of the maiden' trophy all day tomorrow. Just need level 1 DM, to kill Gwyndolin, get soothing/bountiful sunlight from dukes, and beat the game and I have it.

After that, all I will need till platinum is 'Knight's honor', 'Strongest Fire Weapon', and 'Strongest Magic Weapon'. ;D

Whew... And that's it, the first post is updated with all the items I have as of tonight, post trade with ultraflame, study up you build makers you. The roulette will become regular after the 15th and be held every sunday at 4PM EST, I may change locations...

That was pretty fun. Used a lot of weapons I've never used before. In fact, I had to test out the moves before the fight.

My build was a bit OP this time! Last time I didn't use the DWGR, which put me at a rather significant disadvantage vs the other guys who were wearing it along with some masks. So I wore it this week, but now you guys were underpowered...

My criteria were: >76 poise, 10 lbs to spare for weapons. With the same stats, but swapping rings and gear, this is what I had this week:

More HP, more defense, more poise. Only difference is, this time, if I went overweight, I was in fat roll rather than med roll. But the benefits far outweigh that drawback.


Btw, thanks again for hosting, Yukon. If you want, I can host a bit next time so you get a chance to fight too. I would've offered this time, but it slipped my mind because you were doing such a great job!

Thanks to everyone who showed up, and especially to Reim and Ultra, who provided me with enough stones to upgrade the remainder of my +15 collection. We will very nearly have every weapon avaliable as a +14 by next week, i'll still be working on bows.

There was a little confusion that showed up today and the previous day. You are allowed to have consumable items, like bolts, arrows, etc.. whatever you want. I don't expect people to pick up a +14 Pharis and break the bow over their opponents head.

I also noticed that like the last time people were mostly ignoring the shield pile. So I am considering just fusing the two of them into one pile with 6 drops. This means you may get more than just Pierce and spiked shields in the weapons pile now and adds a bit more punishment. Tell me what you guys think.

Also if a mod could remove the poll. I didn't realize I couldn't remove it after some votes were cast, and its not really needed any longer.

My battery died half way through the roulette so some battles were not recorded. But I will get those videos up soon.

I know I am forgetting to say something... watch out for ninja edits.

I think adding in shields would be a nifty idea (not like my opinion matters, I have never participated before ), it would add a lot more risk to the roulette.

I don't know about everyone else, but for me the best fights are when we both have at least a decent weapon. I had an enchanted longsword at one point, and although it's by no means a great weapon, I made the best of it. Other times I or my opponent will pick up completely useless weapons, and to me it's not as fun. We could still have 1 or 2 dud weapons in the pile of 6 (shields would count in those 2) for laughs, but I'm just saying so it doesn't end up where it's the opposite--4 dud weapons and 2 viable ones (and one of the players picks up both!).

It was fun. You also helped me get three trophies(I may have already been set up to get them, but you saved me a good amount of trouble) and gave me a reason to use weapons I would never have used. I have to say though, that crystal Zwei was a jerk move. ;D

There was a point where my randomizer told me to drop a +14 bonewheel shield and +4 lightning bone wheel shield.

Blaine. You cannot understand how upset I was to not see
A. a bonewheel duel
B. A duel weild bonewheeler.

But I understand your point, I don't think I would add in all the shields. But I would like to put in atleast a few heavy shields. Like Havels and whatnot. I will probably pick 2 shields from each class; Light, medium, heavy and then just throw in the ones I consider offensive as well. Because I do agree with you that the fair battles are a blast to watch.
