A divine weapon will help immensely against Nito. not so much for fighting him as for making his backup stay down which makes the fight so much simpler.

Divine is pretty much only useful against skeles until you kill their necromancer.
Yes, they're also useful during the Nito fight, though. Just to take out the few skeles who are in there with Nito. Once they're dead, you can switch to your weapon of choice to pound Nito with. (Don't bother with the Giant skeles who are behind Nito, since unless you go out of your way to aggro them they actually won't join-in on the fight; just kill the few regular skeles in front of Nito).

i found pyro to work great in this fight
and crest shield in the off-hand for blocking the blasts
once you land kill the skellies that come to you and wait for nito to come close then burn him alive... (well assuming he was alive in the 1st place) hehe
