On Ng+++, Seath did that thing where he just sort of stood in place and wouldn't move toward me, so I broke the crystal and killed him with arrows. It took 101 arrows to kill him. Tried a few poison arrows just to see, but it doesn't look like he can be poisoned.

imo this is one of the easiest bosses ...if you are not going for the sword that is. and you can easily kill him in more ways than bubba can cook shrimps

Dead serious.
Unless there's a movie reference or something that I'm not getting, that is a blatantly racist remark.
I have rephrained from reporting it only become i prefer to give the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Fun with Seath
Evidently not.
Please note my use of punctuation and sentence structure.
I was not calling you a racist, i was saying the remark was racist.
These are different statements.
I was also very careful to leave room for error by stating that the remark may have been a reference. Which would make it mostly harmless.
However i do not apreciate being insulted, and would thank you to rephain from doing so in the future.

I don't even think it would be stereotyping. Bubba could be anyone. One of my good friends is bubba, a fat white kid from Fargo MN.
EDIT: Unless we're talking about stereotyping fat people... I've yet to meet a skinny bubba.

anyway here is the reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhfK98f5S00
now i'd appreciate it if some mod could delete all the irrelevant posts and we go back to how we like to kill seath! thanks, peace

i meant the people associate bubba with the south, not with black or white people.

Re: Fun with Seath
There's a way to kill Seath using ranged attacks (I do it with my Mage) where he constantly keeps turning around on himself and never actually attacks. I don't have the technique completely nailed though. You need to be a certain distance away, and keep at a certain angle (so near one of his side-tails). Just keep continuously strafing, shoot off an attack, and strafe some more until you get back to the angle where you can shoot off your attack again, and repeat. He'll just keep going in a circle and never attack.
Not that people needed another easy way to kill Seath or anything! Just saying it since there's ways you can exploit his AI so that he never attacks, even when he's not stuck by some glitch.

Yeah... much farther than any other enemy. Makes taking him out w/ arrows really easy.

Re: Fun with Seath
Hmm, possibly. There's a few annoying bosses that you can lock-onto from farther than your spells can actually hit. I usually waste a few Soul Spears before I come in closer, exasperated!

Re: Fun with Seath
It's a shame because lock-on isn't even necessary for Seath, whereas I would love to be able to lock on to the Centipede Demon from that distance. Get in a couple extra shots on him.

Re: Fun with Seath
and for us sunbros... lightning spear does immence damage to seath and you can hit him with it extremely easy. Just dont forget to wear your antiquated 'ears' for an extra damage boost
