Tolvo wrote:Very nice video Wade, however I will say there are two noticable things you need to work on. Your accent is fine, I mean sure if you want to get into it some Americans might have problems with it but the real issue is it sounds like you are a bit nervous when speaking. Which, yeah it's understandable. I remember my first time acting and still sometimes when I meet new casting directors I'm a bit wavering in my voice but it will just take some practice to get around that. Making sure to read a script out loud possibly to a friend can help though it might feel a bit odd asking a friend to listen to you prepare for a youtube video.
I noticed something going on with the sound, you may have been moving away from the mic or doing something with your settings or on your computer to cause a fade. There are points where your voice while it sounds like it should be loud gets quiet and fades a bit then resurfaces. If you know the cause you should try and fix that because it does happen fairly often.
All in all though it was a good video, though probably you should put up some more interesting footage in the background for future videos as you speak over it. Possibly things relating to the talk or PvP in the background will always keep people watching.
Good luck man, and keep up the work.

Also, nice bit of Irish accent ya got there laddie. It's so faint I can't tell which it is :|
Judging by the "wee" you slap in there you could be scottish though
Your best line by far "Should take you all of 10 seconds to find it you cheating scumbag" that's actually brilliant.
+1

As well with the practicing of the script, practice saying syllables and any letters that you may find difficult. Just a bit of an exercise to get the mind in the right place as well as making sure your mouth is doing what you want it to. I remember my first time having to talk in front of people, and it does take some getting used to. I know its no different for commentaries.
