It's about time that Reaperfan...

Don't be a jerk, vote for Reaperfan!

Not just because of today's "special" circumstances this genius April Fool's joke of the mods, but because this community (and this site literally) would not be the same without you, Reaperfan! I think you really deserve your own special title, and it's a big shame the mods didn't sacrifice a few seconds of their "precious" :roll: time to take care of this!

I'm sorry, I think I now finally see the point the doubters have. I didn't know so many people see such kind of titles as something... that is this much of a special privilege.

I personally wouldn't really see it as something that makes you an "elite" member - something entirely different are titles like "Forum Lord", and of course if you're a mod. Those are of course more obvious ranks.

But I think this would just be a title that is about Reaperfan's personality, not really his "rank" on this site in my oppinion. I just thought it would be cool if he, as the real master brony here, would actually have "Resident Brony Chief" written under his name. It seems like I just don't take this whole thing as serious

And you really don't have to agree with me on this one, but I just wanna say that besides that, I think Reaperfan is amongst the especially unique characters of this site, who I had no problem with if they got their own personalized title, just like for instance Serious_Much would deserve some title that points to his awfully conceited personality.

And also beides that, he's really likeable. (I mean Reaperfan, not Serious)

I really want to apologize if this thread/poll came across as... a bit unnecessary... I really didn't expect it could be a big deal and cause such rather serious reactions.

Sure I could agree with you on that point, but I could also see the reasons behind not giving Reaperfan a title (no offense meant Reaperfan ).

The reasons to give a title: Reaperfan has always been a well known member of the community and in many ways serves as a recognizable member. He is also responsible for a number of the more helpful components of the site (ex. the summoning guide). As a result, I would say that Reaperfan is a very respected member of the community.

Now the reason not to: The idea of how much one has done for the community is highly subjective. Note that, as of currently, all unique titles, save one, have been given to members who have made an extreme dark Ponies related contribution to the wiki/forum. While it is true that Reaperfan has provided some dark Ponies related information, the question of how much compared to the others arises. This is where the subjective part comes in. The issue here is that if Reaperfan is not seen as having provided enough to the site by a large number of people, then some could take a unique title for Reaperfan to be a sign of favoritism.

Anyways, I could see the benefits of going either way. My vote right now is a yes

Well I think giving him a brony related title wouldn't be undeserved.. It's not related to Dark Ponies, he just champions the bronies for the community pretty much

And that isn't even relevant imo, Reaperfan is just the one brony here who totally deserves a special brony-title!

I'll vote for him as he is the resident avodcate for all of Ponydom on this forum and I appreciate that.

But I figure its entirely subjective. What some see as a great addition to the site others see and nothing special.

Like the Covenants section of the forum. Myself, DvX04, and a bunch of others pushed along ideas for covenants and that became a part of the site but it wouldn't have been possible without all of us trying (I'm not trying to claim anything by this I just know that we both talked about a user cov with Emergence and the the mods took our requests and put the section together for us).

I also would one day like a badass name like that but I wonder how hard you actually have to work to get one and how achievable it is. The guys with names already covered most of the really important stuff ( and boy did they cover it- Acidics Secrets Section,etc)

It really does make me feel great knowing that I'm appreciated here, and in all honesty I'd like to have a title

However, whether the mods think being an outspoken Brony is something that actually contributes enough to the wiki/forums to afford one is up to them though, and I can understand either way. Love and tolerance

Also, I'm not voting since this is about me and that doesn't seem quite fair

...Also maybe because it was coupled with this (really great) April Fool's joke. It amazed me how many people seemed so awfully mad about what was just a really hilarious and genius joke...

I also didn't get it for about the first two minutes, but still all it gave me was just a really confused laugh.

It's okay Darkson, I don't think anyone here is upset with this thread . I also don't think most of us would have an issue with Reaperfan having a title, were mostly concerned that there will be some who don't approve, and we just wanted to get that across so that everyone sees the whole picture and considers it all before deciding .

Its so strange how Reaper turned me from a doubter to a full fledged Brony.
