It's about time that Reaperfan...

Can I cancel my vote I thought it was to keep it half pony half dark souls I really think reaperfan deserves that title I just wasn't paying attention and I am sorry for that

I can see both sides of the argument. Perhaps there is room for a balance on titles. I like the point that some titles (moderator obviously) have a certain meaning and others have received them for their contributions to the site and/or forum. What if there were something like a Hall of Fame or Employee of the Month type vote on a monthly or bi-monthly basis that rewards members who are quite active in the forums and either a) contribute something special or b) are just great personalities who bring something unique to the table (like Reaperfan). Of course there would have to be an option "c" if there was a month or whatever in which no one really stood out. This would negate the title inherently having a meaning of great "value" but still be an honor to the person. Also, it would avoid the Pandora's box of things like "Well Reaperfan got a title for loving ponies, why can't I have one for being a Buffalo Bills fan?" as there would be a process involved and a set number of honorees.

P.S. I'm a Bills fan so if Reaperfan gets a title I want one too

It's ok, I understand that this poll could have been easily misunderstood giving how some of you people seriously panicked on April 1 about the "new look" of the site.

But I'm sorry, this is the first poll I ever created, and I think I created it with the option so that you cannot cancel your vote. :oops: And I can't find a way to edit it now afterwards. :pale:

Haha, it depends if Emergence wants to then I would not be against it, though I think a humourous title would be more appropriate .

@Reaperfan and the other Bronies: I can't remember if I said this already, but I hope you all enjoyed Bronie Day, its always fun having you all here . Perhaps you should see if you can make it a monthly event?

@Everyone who talked about it: Pony day was the best thing to ever happen, seconded only by the upgrade from the old forums to the new forums

Without the surprise it wouldn't be as special, keep it for random holiday things, or if you wanted to be really scientific about it, keep it for special Brony Community related things like the finale of Season 2 here in a few weeks or the eventual release of a Fighting is Magic beta

For how I understood it now everyone said Reaperfan would deserve a title, but he won't get it, because it would be unfair on all the others?

As I already said now, I really didn't know it would be such a special thing for everyone some of you, I just thought it would be a fun idea.

I just had this idea after I vistited Carphil's "first to post" thread (in the MLP section on April 1), were he asked for a "quick on the draw" title for himself. I said I'd hope he would get a MLP-related title instead for punishment, and then Reaper said he would be the sadest brony ever if this happened to Carphil first...

I thought about how 100% of a brony Reaperfan is, at least judging by all of is posts I read, and the brony thread and everything, and I tought it's actually really odd he didn't get a brony title already...

So I created this poll...

There was nothing wrong with what you did, and what the hell man, you don't need to apologize that your thread just happened to be the place in which there was some conversation that lead to this and that which lead to something that somehow lead to me having the idea to create this poll. :roll: Hope you get what I'm trying to say lol.

Also I'd have no problem at all if you really got your own "quick on the draw" title, I also think that would be a cool thing, and I don't see what would be wrong about it. I'd be the last to be jealous of somebody just because he got a "special" title in a forum.

And Carphil, I hope it doesn't look like I somehow blamed you for something in my post, what the hell...
