If you need weapon scaling then yes, if not then no. I haven't tested Sunlight Blade with 40 faith, but I will, and will post if there is a large difference.

I believe it has somewhere around a 30 something damage difference, if the calculations are correct.

Depends how hard you want your weapons or mircles to hit. Darkmoon talisman is the best talisman but it does not become truely effective until 35 faith or something close to that.

canvas talisman is at its strongest at 30 and darkmoon at 40.

i tested it and there isnt, you either go with 30 or 50 faith, if you go 50 make sure you wear the crown thing or the ring that boosts your miraclesm theyre really helpful since wog or the lightning spears are not that powerful.

with slb i think the diff betweem 30 and 50 is about 100 maybe more. you can still use the spells though, i love the way sunlight spear looks and its awesome against bosses.

WAAAAIT. I'm looking at a calc now. 30 Faith + Canvas talisman gives you 172MagAdj, but 50 Faith + Darkmoon Talisman gives you 226 MagAdj. Are you telling me that adjustment makes a 100point difference on Sunlight Blade? Really? If so what a fail I just made on that build...

50 faith=406
i know it sucks but test it and see for yourself.

My main is dex/faith with SLB and I went with 30. The extra points in vit and end are just more valuable imo than a bit of extra SLB damage, plus I like the flexibility. Means I'm not totally useless when the buff expires.

ok I tested 40 faith with canvas talisman and my sunlight straight sword. Sunlight blade gives 30 more AR with 190 Mag Adj, it's not worth it. I didn't test WoG nor Lightning spears, so maybe they increase more.

scaling sucks, just get enough stats to use the skill and put the rest into vit or end which are much more useful than alittle more dmg
