Door in the parish Empty Door in the parish

Post by Dark Spirit EliteBiker20 Mon Apr 16, 2012 11:04 pm

In undead parish around where the first group of assassins ambushes you, there is a door that is an entrance covered with wooden boards. I looked in through the cracks and I could see some distance back through. It looks like it could be an area in which we were meant to go but it was taken out until some changes to the game were made. I do not have pics right now but you should know what door i am talking about. Your thoughts on this?

Interesting, if only we could change the camera over by the statue in firelink shrine and see behind it. Maybe we can find a way to glitch through the door, kinda like how bonewheels can clip through walls and fall to death.

You can see the area past that door from the little circle area upon just getting into the basement from the Bridge Wyvern area. It's just a small tower with a bit of grass and no other paths.

No problem, as a man with little life and too much interest in this game, I find a lot of these little things.

While we are on this topic, Last night in the burg I noticed something. If you come up the stairs from the aqueduct, when you look over the side (kill the guy with the axe before you do any sightseeing, however) you can see a balcony down there with a body and an Item. I also saw some writing on the floor there. My question is: how do I get there? I even went down to look up from lower undead burg, but I can't figure it out.

Could you maybe take a picture? What you are describing kind of sounds like the Blue Tearstone ring past the Black Knight, but I'm not entirely sure based on your description.

Yeah, I am struggling to describe exactly. I'll take a pic when I get home from work.

Edit to add: but it is not the area where the ring is.

Alright, do you mean you look off into the distance from that spot, or it is below you?

I agree with Tolvo here.... it sounds like you are describing the blue tearstone ring. Try going down to the point where there are two shield warriors with a spier wielding warrior. There is a staircase leading down to a black knight. Beyond that black knight is a balcony with a dead body. Try this and let me know if it was this. Also remember to thank Tolvo because he came up with this solution before I did.

There are also three other possibilities. Right when you come up those stairs from the Aquaduct with the rat there are two hollows, kill them. There are a bunch of barrels, if you break them you can drop down and find a soul item. Turn to your left and drop there will be a hollow who runs away. Turn left again and there is a little hall like way, to the left in there is another area that leads to a small area with ports and a dead body with an item. Leave and go out to near where you landed and follow the path to fight weak hollows who ambush you. Along the path will be some rubbish. Fight some more and climb a ladder to find a body with one humanity. You can then drop down to the area with the Axe hollow where the one weak hollow you saw earlier will be waiting to ambush you. Hopefully one of these answers is what he's looking for.

i think he is talking about right after the aquaduct, where you can get down if you destroy the barrels in the way and simple jump down.

It is below you. Sorry, should have said that.
If you stand against the small wall, you can angle the amera above you to see down to the area. There was yellow soapstone there, so it must be accessible.

Yes, I think this is it. I've been that way a few times, but I never noticed the extra turnoff. I thought the passage ends at the wood barricades.

Now, let me see if I can ask something that Tolvo does not know:

When looking from the front of the giant rat in the depths, in which eye is the axe stuck? ( poor thing, btw.)
I noticed this for the first time the other night. I suppose it belonged to the guy who rocked the spider shield?

Ps: Thanks Tolvo, and everybody else. May your axe never get stuck in a giant rat at a critical moment.

While we are on doors in Anor Londo in the area to the right of the main doors (the ones guarded by the 2 sentinels) there's is this random door there, where the giant blacksmith is bu the opposite side. Anyone got it open?
